A beautiful cottage in a very pretty village. The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and tidy.

The cottage was excellent, like a home from home, but reminded me of 5 star hotels that we have stayed in. Everything we could have needed was there. Also loved the location of the property as it was so close to Masham, a lovely market town with all amenities and lovely places to eat. A central location to tour the Dales.

We liked the cosy warm feeling as you enter Fern Cottage. We also liked the attention to detail, unexpected extras and relaxing in front of the log burner after cold busy days.

The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way - it was beautifully furnished with high quality furniture and items. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, mugs and crockery. It was clear to see that a lot of effort had been put in to making the house really nice. There was a nice spot to sit out in the garden, with high fencing and hedges so that there was privacy even though the house was on the end of a terrace. The village is lovely, and very conveniently placed, there are lots of attractions and things to see close by while still being very rural.

Wonderful break in this gorgeous cottage. Everything immaculate and some lovely little touches from the owners like fluffy gowns and even wine and milk in the fridge! Great area plenty to do highly recommended.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic visit to Fern cottage in Fearby. We spent a relaxing time with everything we could possibly need. This cottage is 5 star but with a homely feel like staying in someone's show house. We arrived to beautiful flowers in the windowsill milk in the fridge biscuits tea coffee and a bottle of wine. It was dark after a long drive from Cairnryan and to find the lamps on in the beautiful living room and all the above we couldn't have asked for more. The bedroom was so comfy with towels and a bath robe each. A folder with information on everything you might need was left out including how to operate the heating to places in the nearby town to visit/ eat etc was most welcome. There were dvd's, books, games etc. The bathroom was top notch with modern suite, brilliant shower and underfloor heating. The little garden out the back looked very inviting but the time of year we visited did not lend itself to use but if you were here in summer time it would be lovely. The little village itself was picture perfect but lovely and quiet at night which we love but close enough to the nearby market town of Masham where we ate on a number of occasions. The location of the property was excellent for visiting many of the beautiful villages and attractions in the dales. Thanks to Colette the owner for providing us with such a lovely property and welcome would highly recommend and will definitely return.

A beautifully presented cottage in an ideal location for exploring the area. The cottage provided everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful relaxing holiday.

We arrived after a hectic week and were looking for somewhere to relax and do nothing for a few days. Fern Cottage was just the place, sitting in the garden with a cup of tea listening to the curlew's bubbling call was simply magical and the fledgling sparrows entertained us every day. The cottage is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay; the bottle of wine was a welcome bonus. There are walks on the doorstep into the surrounding coutryside and a good pub 200 metres away.
