Full advantage is taken of the stunning riverside views from the first floor living room, and these can be further savoured from the decked seating terrace leading directly to waterside (children will need supervision). An ideal location for relaxing, soaking up the sun and watching the boats pass by. The location is also perfect for river fishing - direct from the terrace. Boat hire is available locally – pre booking is recommended. This is an excellent central location for exploring Norfolk, set in the village of Brundall, central for boat building and boat hire, with its own railway station, mini market, post office, takeaway restaurants, hairdresser, fine restaurant and local pubs all serving good food (two located within the village, one within walking distance, and one just across the river). Easily accessible by train or car, the city of Norwich (½ an hour’s drive) for excellent shopping, cafés, theatre, cinema complexes, cathedral and castle museum. The pretty Broadland villages and countryside, RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen (3 miles) are nearby. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches backed with dunes are 12 miles away. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, BeWILDderwood at Horning, and Dinosaur Park at Lenwade offer a great family day out. Shop 1 mile, pub ½ mile.Spacious kitchen/dining room.
