Flat 3 Greenbank is a second floor apartment with coastal views, in the charming town of Grange-over-Sands. The apartment has a king-size double room and a twin room which can be offered as a double on request, along with a family bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a rear garden area with furniture. Flat 3 Greenbank is within easy reach of the town's amenities and coastline, and also is a good base for enjoying the Lake District or the Lancashire coast.

Set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay is the charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands, benefiting from one of the mildest climates in the north of England. Formerly a small fishing village, the fashionable Edwardian resort developed following the introduction of the Furness Railway. Today, the town continues as a popular holiday destination and has much to offer the modern visitor, including a traffic-free promenade, stunning ornamental gardens, numerous golf courses, brass band concerts and excellent birdwatching. Lake Windermere is just a short drive away, as are the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead, which still retain their charm and character. With stunning scenery and lots to see and do in the local area, this region is a great place for a holiday with friends or family.

plenty of information on hand on the house and location. Coffee maker tricky to use and no washing machine as advertised. dishwasher wasn't working either but none of these things spoilt our stay. Had you been a family this may have been more important to you. We love Grange for its peace and beauty, wonderful walks , close to all the lakes by car and Grange itself has a fabulous butcher/baker and Chinese takeaway. Fantastic holiday.

The flat was gorgeous in every way. Waking up to breathtaking views every day put a smile on your face as did having fresh bread from the local bakery for breakfast! The area is lovely and a good base for exploring, with nice local walks if you didn't feel like driving.

A great base to visit all parts of the Lakes and in itself Grange-over-Sands is a lovely place with plenty to do. The flat is beautiful and it truly felt a home from home. I thoroughly recommend it to all!

The apartment was very modern and clean, everything you would need was available in the apartment. The location was very central and the town of Grange-over-Sands was very nice with a variety of shops. The area was a great base for exploring the Lake District and we would definitely stay in the apartment in the future.

It was a beautiful flat, well decorated, styled, furnished etc. There were beautiful views across the estuary. It was ideally placed for us, as we explored the area looking at birds that were flying in for the winter. We also visited Leighton Moss Reserve. Although we did not visit the Lake District this time, the flat is ideally placed for accessing this area.

Location at south edge of the Lakes made everywhere we wanted to visit very accessible. The apartment itself was lovely, with great views out over towards Morecombe Bay. Our 15month old enjoyed running around and playing in the large airy rooms.

Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Flat 3. It is a modern, bright and spacious apartment with everything you need! The owners provided tea, coffee, towels, hand wash and even cleaning supplies - all of which were a nice touch and very well appreciated. The whole apartment was very clean when we arrived and everything was set out perfectly. The bed was super comfortable (we had no problems sleeping) and waking up to the views over the sands was stunning! It's a very light and airy apartment and we really enjoyed coming back to it after a long day out. It has all the local amenities a short walk away such as bakeries, butchers, convenience stores and plenty of good takeaways. Kendal and Windermere are half an hour's drive away and the location of Grange is so quiet you could hear a pin drop! There are some lovely gardens just around the corner and the large duck pond was the highlight for us with lots of rare duck breeds which was great! The only downside to the property is the out side staircase. It is metal and gets very slippery in the rain! It has large gaps in it which is not ideal for wearers of heeled shoes. You would need to change your shoes just to walk down the steps! Overall the apartment was perfect and I would highly recommend it to couples and families alike. We kept good contact with the owner which was helpful and we left with a holiday to remember!

This is a gorgeous apartment, with a spacious, luxurious feel. It is fresh, clean, beautifully decorated and full of thoughtful details for your stay. The panoramic views across Morecambe Bay to Lancashire are just breathtaking. Our family rented this apartment in the winter and it was warm and cosy. It is also conveniently appointed for shops, walks, coffee shops and churches and is great as a base for trips further afield. The owners are fantastic and so accommodating - nothing is too much trouble for them. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone and returned from our break there, relaxed and refreshed.

Accommodation was light and spacious with excellent views over the estuary. Its position in Grange was very convenient for walking into the town or going on walks up the prom. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

It's a modern loft conversion. It was very attractive, spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient for touring and the views over the bay quite beautiful. Grange is a pleasant little town and we were lucky enough to be there on a weekend when there were craft fairs and street shows going on. The December weather was kind to us - very cold but sunny.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, and homely at the same time. There was also plenty of indoor activities to do on a rainy day; books, games, a DVD player. We brought a lot with us that we did not need, as it was so well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

On top of the above sentence we want to emphasize that the lake district is really worthwhile visiting, certainly for dutchies coming from a really flat country but also nice visiting. We gave a report to the owner of the house in which we stayed, which was a verypositive experience as well. As total appreciation we are giving as total a 9.
