Set in 170 acres of unspoilt rolling Northumberland countryside on a working farm with views of the Simonside Hills and reservoir in a mix of meadows, pastures and woodland, this spacious, semi-detached holiday home, attached to the owner’s architect designed farmhouse, offers a tranquil and peaceful holiday base from which to explore the stunning countryside. Visitors are welcome to visit the animals on the farm and fish at the nearby popular fishing spot at Fontburn Reservoir (charges apply). Wonderful walks or cycling can be taken right from the front door. Whether you head up the Northumbrian Heritage Coast or across Rothbury and off towards the Cheviots, you won’t be short of places to visit. Fontburn Reservoir has first class fishing, a popular location for beginners, as well as keen anglers. With a lodge shop providing tackle, bait and even ice-creams and refreshments, making a nice family spot for picnics. A great location for travelling this friendly and unspoilt county peppered with castles, historic sites and miles of golden beaches. Central location for exploring Rothbury, Morpeth, the coast or inland.
