This cosy and well-appointed holiday cottage - with a lovely view across Lake Bala - is in an elevated position behind the owner’s house and has its own drive, terraced garden and parking. With open woodland on one side and fields behind, the cottage is all on one floor. Just a mile away is the popular town of Bala in Snowdonia National Park. The 4-mile long lake offers excellent facilities for sailing, canoeing, fishing, wind-surfing and swimming. There is also a lakeside narrow-gauge railway as well as golf and riding nearby. Shops 1 mile.

The cottage was clean and cosy with wonderful views across Lake Bala. We were given a very warm welcome by our hosts. We enjoyed surprisingly good weather considering we visited in October, and made the most of some excellent walks. The woods behind the cottage were great for the children to explore. We had a wonderful relaxing break. Thank you.

This is an excellent property and the hosts are very welcoming. The cottage is well-equipped (albeit the kitchen knives are a little blunt!) with comfortable beds & furniture and excellent washer/dryers in the utility room. This is a quiet location and a cosy, pretty cottage so it is ideal for rest and relaxation. Highly recommended.

A very clean & comfortable Cottage. The owners were very helpful & friendly. Our stay was all we had hoped for and we would book this Cottage again if we visit North Wales in the future. The steps at the front of the property can be a bit slippy in wet weather!

We felt very remote from people, which is just what we wanted. The view from the cottage looking on to the lake and distant hills were magnificent. We felt very safe and well looked after, the proprietors were extremely kind and generous. A perfect place to unwind.

There was a very warm welcome by the owner of the property, despite us arriving in a torrential downpour! The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. It was in an excellent position to explore the area and would not hesitate to recommend it.

In the brochure it states you need towels - the owner provides them! Water from the bathroom shower leaks onto the floor as the bath surround needs re-sealing. the view is amazing particularly when the boats are on the lake at weekends.
