Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation ideal for exploring the area and with good views from the kitchen and bedroom. There were good restaurants and shops very close by.

The accommodation was first class and very comfortable. There were plenty of choices for eating out; we especially enjoyed the food at the Fountain, Board Inn and the Cafe Pizza as well as the Chippy! There was lots to see and do and the grandchildren enjoyed the visits to the creamery, museum and rope makers. The walks to the waterfalls were first class and the hospitality was amazing, we will definitely go again!

The accommodation was really good. We had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. The location could not have been more central.

The cottage was very well located, right in the heart of the village, with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. The cottage itself was beautifully presented and very well equipped. There was everything you would need in the kitchen. DVD's, board games, books and tourist leaflets were also made available.

We found the cottage to be very well equipped and furnished. It was in an excellent location for the areas we wanted to visit. The standard of accommodation was very good. The kitchen was excellent and the lounge perfect. We loved the cottage, we have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is probably the best we have been in. We felt very lucky!

This is a superb property in the heart of the village. Hawes is a charming Dales Market town and a good jumping off point for discovering several of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Top drawer place to stay. Everything you could want, and a great location. Hawes is a great base for exploring the Dales, which has still got 'tour fever'! Very friendly and helpful owner.
