Glasfryn Barn was a fantastic base for our family holiday. It is spacious and superbly decorated with everything we needed for the three generations of our family. There were beautiful all round views of the Welsh countryside, including Harlech Castle and plenty of places to visit within a short car journey.

This converted barn is a work of art, it is truly beautiful and really spacious. The setting is gorgeous with a wonderful yard for ball games with the children. I have rented many holiday homes and this is beyond anything I have ever rented before. The owners are informative and charming, as well. This is a wonderful choice for extended family gatherings.

Glasfryn Barn is an amazing property in a wonderful setting and a beautiful part of the country. It has been lovingly created by the owners and everything is top quality. It was spotlessly clean and absolutely everything was provided - all that we needed, and more. I think it would be impossible to improve on this property - our family certainly had a wonderful time there.

Our party of 9 - adults and children - very much enjoyed staying at Glasfryn. The barn has been converted to a very high standard and is very comfortable and well-equipped in all respects. The spacious living/dining area on the ground floor is great for large groups. The bedrooms are comfortable. The location is excellent for the mountains and the big sandy beach at Harlech.

There was a welcome pack awaiting us. Although we had taken all we required, if anyone had forgotten tea, coffee, milk, bread, sugar, salt, pepper, ice cubes, toilet rolls and much more, they were there for us. Our hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests - the wine was a lovely touch. Even on the wet rainy day when we all stayed in, we had DVDs to watch, games to play and the wild life to entertain us.
Miss Warrington
April 2010
Everything; the welcome and welcome gifts were outstanding. The property was in an excellent location and was extremely clean and well equipped. We did not want for anything and our hosts were more than helpful and were very pleasant. The cost for 10 people to stay for the week was well worth it. We will be returning next year.

Outstanding accommodation, everything one needs plus more! Spotlessly clean, extremely spacious with a lovely garden in which we enjoyed many activities with our grandchildren. Highly recommended, but beware that the area has a very erratic mobile signal and no wifi, but then it is a holiday so away from the hustle and bustle made it even more attractive.

August 2014
As regular renters of holiday properties for many, many years, we have stayed in numerous cottages and locations - this is unquestionably the most immaculate cottage we have ever stayed in. Spotless throughout, and a very warm welcome from the owners. The attention to every detail was just wonderful. Lots of space, beautiful location and great for you and old. Highly recommended !!

May 2015
This is a truly fantastic place to stay. Attention to every small detail, immaculately clean and brilliantly equipped. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children under 5 and the spacious open plan downstairs layout was perfect for everyone to enjoy each other's company and allow the children the freedom to play.. The large lawned garden is also a perfect place for children to play in absolute safety and for the adults to enjoy a drink and a BBQ. As per previous reviews there is no wifi and phone signal is iffy which might not suit everyone, and means you can't rely on them to do any on-line searches or manage e mails. Glasfryn Barn is near perfection and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Luxury barn conversion, beautiful and equipped to a very high standard. It has to be the best holiday home we have rented. It had everything we wanted, all mod cons plus loads of Dvds, games (indoor and outdoor), always full bird feeders(!), secure safe garden for kids. The owners were friendly, and very helpful. Very peaceful location, but near to beaches, castles, Portmerion, and Snowdon. Would very happily go back, couldn't fault it.
