Great Horner consists of the main house and the garden cottage combined, forming spacious holiday accommodation, set in a large garden in rural south Devon. Within the grounds, a large play barn with badminton, table tennis and table football, plus a 12-hole crazy golf course will keep both children and adults entertained. Close to the village of Halwell, it is midway between Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge in a lovely location for both lazy beach days or as a base to explore the region. Totnes, 4 miles, has a unique atmosphere, especially on a Friday when the market comes to town, or enjoy a day at Dartmouth, 7 miles, where visitors can play golf on an 18-hole championship golf course (Great Horner guests can receive a 25% discount at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club). The main house boasts a spacious dining room with a sitting area, wood-burning stove and a table to seat all 20 people, making it a perfect venue for family celebrations and get togethers. The cottage accommodation, just 20 yards away from the main house, has three bedrooms, kitchen, large living room and dining space. This is a superb, self-contained property, perfect for family members who prefer a little of their own space whilst all holidaying together. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
