We really enjoyed our stay at Haddeo Cottage. It was a great base from which to explore Exmoor with walks straight from the door. We found it an ideal cottage to stay in with dogs as there was a small, secure garden and stone/wooden floors throughout. There was ample parking. The owners were very helpful.

A beautiful, secluded, well prepared cottage. It is ideal for dogs with a fenced garden. Bury is very quiet with access to a number of different walks.

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting, and the directions we received were perfect. The cottage itself was much roomier than I'd imagined it to be and the period features were wonderful. I hope to come back again in the future.

Charming cottage in a beautiful picturesque location. Quiet, relaxing spot but within easy reach of Dulvertons shops and facilities. Haddeo Cottage is a great location for holidaymakers and their dogs.

Absolutely perfect property for us and our two dogs. We have stayed in many cottages in Exmoor over the last 20 years and this is the most enchanting we have ever found .

It was very cosy and comfy, lovely and quiet. We loved the fact that we had our own parking and a large garden. The cottage was very spacious and we loved the fact that is was on different levels. We would defiantly be recommending it to friend and family.

I was absolutely charmed and enjoyed my short stay from the moment I opened the front door. It is a truly beautiful and quiet place in which to recharge the batteries, with lots of walks and gorgeous scenery. I was totally surprised to find groceries left for me, eggs, beautiful local ones, bacon, bread and even a bottle of wine! This was so welcome as I arrived late after a very tiring day. The little touches were lovely, flowers in the kitchen and lovely fluffy white towels. One place I will certainly revisit. Thank you to the owners for the respite I was looking for.

haddeo was a nice cottage with very thick walls but very dark inside had to have the lights on most of the while when we were inn . few down falls was no chest of draws in none of the bedrooms . the tv reception was very hit and miss there is a freesat dish outside which struggles to find bbc 1 and through to 5 i spend nearly an hr changing the channels no instructions how to work it . plenty of hot water oil ch . got into the cottage to mind no info pack how to work the cooker wot time you had to be out by the sat . i think a little more time and effort in the cottage would be better . this cottage could do with a bit of maintenance on it esp the garden very over grown hedges but over all nice stay

The cottage was delightful, full of character, very clean and well equipped. It was peaceful but within easy driving distance of lots of beautiful walks in the countryside and beaches. The directions given were really helpful. The owners have put a lot of thought into what they provide and the provision of milk, eggs, bacon and bread on arrival was very welcome. Thank you for helping us to have a wonderful week away!

Efficient booking system. Well equipped traditional cottage in a very interesting area amongst beautiful countryside far from the madding crowd but close enough for easy day trips out to the coast or moors. A log fire added to our comfort. No pub or resturaunt in walking distance but not too far by car to lovely Dulverton a jewel in the lovely Somerset countryside.

Charming and quaint cottage, very cosy, the ford was a great for our kids ( 12 and 13 ) who played in there for hours, dogs safely in a fenced garden, although a little steep for anything else. Very comfortable cottage, all the basics plus a few extras are there, the village is quite isolated and beautifully quiet , a great base for exploring exmoor. Living room held a soft smell from the wood burner and if it had been colder we would have lit the fire ourselves. Great welcome pack, had to go to dulverton to get provision and struggled to find takeaway but it didn't spoil our stay .

I have already written a review about the cottage. In all it was a very pleasant property but on two counts it fell short of being excellent. The instructions for obtaining entry were abysmal - they were downright wrong and applied to the adjacent cottage. The only other complaint was that it looked as though the garden hadn't received attention within the previous year. Indoors everything was fine but overall the ship is being spoiled for a ha'porth of tar as the old saying goes!.
