A lovely cottage with great views of the surrounding mountains. The beds were very comfortable, the cottage had everything you would need and had a lovely feel to it. Good parking. The pub down the road serves very good food and beer. A friend of mine whom we were with thought it a good enough location to propose to his girlfriend of 10 years! Right in that living room!

The cottage was in a beautiful scenic area, which we loved. It was very comfortable clean. The addition of free logs coal was very welcome especially as the weather was extremely cold that week. The pub, just 5 minutes walk down the road, was very welcoming, the staff were friendly the food excellent.

We returned this year to Hendre House Barn, so that should tell you that we really love it there. The people in the village are very welcoming. enjoyed our night joining in with them playing skittles.

This was our second visit to Hendre House Barn, and it was just as good as our first. The property is beautiful and extremely comfortable. We had six people staying and it still felt really spacious. The location is very peaceful, and ideal for ramblers. The Railway pub is a 5 minute walk and is a must for any visitor as the food is incredible. We will definitely stay again next year!

The shower was fine once we found out how to regulate the water. The barn was cosy. The spiral stair case would not be suitable for the very young or the infirm. Ample cutlery, glasses etc and furnishings were adequate. Well placed for touring mid/north wales.

This cottage has a very pleasant atmosphere and is well equipped. Those that like rural areas and like to hike are at the best thinkable place.

This cottage is quirky, warm and very well furnished. It had all we needed and was a home from home. The walks at the back of the cottage were great for the dogs albeit we had to keep them on a lead for part of the way as there were a few steep drops. Very magical hearing and seeing the steam train puff away in the hillside at the back of the cottage. Great to have the fuel for the fire provided for all of our holiday saving us having to search around for it. Great pub serving food 5 minutes walk away which was great after a long day out.

This cottage provides relaxation and fabulous location. It is well equipped with lots of extra touches. The furniture was very tasteful, as was the quirkiness of the cottage. It was also extremely clean; something that is top of my list in a holiday cottage.

This holiday home is fabulous. Fully equipt in a peacefull setting. The owners have thought of everything even a mobile phone in case you lost signal with your own provider. ideal for the larger family or for two families to share. The local pub the railway is excellent but book early if you want to eat in the restaurante.

We had an excellent week in this property. We were a mixed party ranging in age between 6 to 70. The nearness of some very rewarding walks, bird-watching and the coast were all contributors to our enjoyment, not to mention the Tal-y-llyn railway and the lake itself. I have spent several holidays in this area in my youth and it hasn't lost its magic.
