Situated a few miles south of Oban on a quiet private road, having crossed the picturesque Atlantic Bridge onto Seil Island, High Pastures is a very well-equipped detached villa which offers a real home from home and a very comfortable and peaceful base from which to explore the beautiful views, wildlife and archaeology of Scotland’s west coast. A short walk behind the house reveals a stunning vista of islands and dramatic sunsets, or just relax overlooking the Sound of Seil from the large mature garden where midges aren’t a problem.
Opportunities unfold for exploring on foot or by car. With Oban, the ‘Gateway to the Isles’ nearby, with ferries, boat trips and whale watching available from here and from Seil Island, the possibilities for adventure are endless. Village shop within 1½ miles, a pub less than a mile away by the Atlantic Bridge and a seafood restaurant at Ellenabeich.
