We spent a very cosy 20th wedding anniversary week at Homeliegh. The photos do not do the lodge justice, the sofas have been upgraded to two leather ones, and the fire is now modern, with a coal effect that flickered in the evening light. The lodge was spotless with every kitchen apparatus you could wish for, a new washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge/kitchen/dinner was huge, plenty of room for a family. The main bedroom was spacious with ample space in draws and wardrobe. The view from Homeliegh is to die for! Although the weather was up and down, sitting on the decking and watching the sky over the hills, changing colours and the sound of the birds singing, we heard a woodpecker in the distance, was wonderful. Narbeth town was a short walk away, which we did most evenings, to enjoy the local fare. Lilly's coffee shop is lovely and cosy, hot chocolate and soup, mmmmm! We went to The Bush Inn, a short drive away, they serve huge portions, We enjoyed walks along the beach at Amroth almost every day come rain or shine. The bathroom was warm with lovely soft towels supplied, could do with a walk in shower instead of the shower over the bath, but that's just me being picky. We had a lovely welcome letter from the owner, nice touch. Overall a wonderfully, relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting.
