Tucked away in the grounds of the owners’ small working farm, these comfortably furnished holiday properties are well situated for families or friends to enjoy a summer holiday or winter break and is open all year. Homildon House (31290) is attached to the main farmhouse and sleeps up to six guests. It has a private, walled, sun-trap garden, ideal for a family barbecue or an intimate glass of wine. Cuddy’s Croft (31291) is attached to the main farmhouse and sleeps two. It has a garden area perfect for alfresco dining. Guests of both properties are welcome to meet the animals on the owners’ farm and to wander around the extensive grounds. The local area offers walking, cycling, climbing and bird watching. Visit the pretty coastal town of Bamburgh, with its imposing hill top castle, and the historic ruins of Lindisfarne on Holy Island. The nearby harbour town of Seahouses is the starting point for boat trips to the Farne Islands, which are well known for their noisy and gregarious puffin colonies. Beach 8 miles.
