Honeysuckle is a lovely terraced cottage in the village of Gorran Haven, two minutes from the beach on foot, on the Roseland Peninsula. The cottage can accommodate four people in two bedrooms, a double room, a twin room and a bathroom. The cosy living room is open plan and contains a kitchen, a dining area by the window and a sitting area. Everyone can gather after a day out and discuss the day's adventures or relax with a bit of TV. There is off road parking for two cars and when the evening is sunny, you can sit outside and enjoy dinner on the patio. A wonderful base for a holiday by the sea, Honeysuckle is perfect for friends, families and even couples.
Once a crab fishing village, Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall is ideally placed to explore the many beaches and coves in the area. Gorran Haven has a small sandy beach, connecting with the longer Great Perhaver beach at low tide. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust, including the 370 feet high Dodman Point, rising above Gorran, which is thought to be one of Cornwall’s most dramatic headlands, and the cause of many a shipwreck.
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
