A beautiful home with wonderful views. It was very quiet and the hot tub wasn't bad either!

The owner of Housekeepers has worked hard to provide everything you could possibly need. The furnishings, linen and equipment is of very high quality, adding to the luxury feel. Some lovely touches too that just finish things off beautifully. We will definitely be back

A fantastic place to stay - lovely countryside and great views. The hot tub was superb and the wood burner at night was good. There is lots to do around this area such as great places to eat and shop. We wouldn't hesitate to go back to Housekeepers.

This was a unbelievably amazing place, there was everything that we could have needed, and the hosts were great. The house was out of this world. It was decorated lovely, we all said that we would be happy living in the house as our home as it was so homey and comfortable.

Everything about the accommodation was fantastic. Both outside and in were finished to an exceptional standard and everything we could think of (plus much more we hadn't even considered) was catered for.

The property is set in a wonderful valley surrounded by wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay, the owners went beyond what we expected really friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The house was decorated to a very impressive standard. The hot tub was a real highlight.

In a wonderful location, everything you could want was there. The hot tub was fantastic, we went in everyday. There was plenty to keep you entertained; Sky movies, board games and books if you wanted to read. We couldn't stop watching the birds and we had a game of tennis. Absolutely loved it!

This property is amazing, the property was clean and tidy with amazing views from both the decking and the hottub. The owners were very friendly and the little touches such as the jar of toffees and the bottle of prosecco were very welcome. There are some lovely walks near by and the children loved the tennis courts. I highly recommend this property

Before I explain the accident, I would like to say that the cottage itself was very very well kept and extremely comfortable. It was perfectly sized for 4 adults and even had a bedroom for 2 children, which we didn't know about until we arrived. The scenery was faultless and the views from the windows and hot tub were amazing. The housekeepers attention to detail was brill (aside from outdoor lighting) as they left prosecco, butter, eggs, teabags, coffee and more. We didn't know about this until arrival though so we had bought much of it beforehand. The only downside is that there are absolutely no outdoor lights so when it gets dark outside, it literally is pitch black in the hot tub and garden, especially in October. We balanced a torch on the balcony to shine over to us in the hot tub, which was fine, however, when it rained and we were getting out, it was impossible to see how far away the wooden ledge was at the bottom of the hot tub to the wooden steps leading back up to the property. As a result of the lack of lighting and slippy floor, I stepped off the wooden ledge onto thin air as I misjudged the distance because I couldn't see anything. I banged my face on the wooden steps, sliced my finger open and banged my leg quite badly. I now have a bruise on my nose and a huge bruise from my right knee to right ankle alongside a sliced finger and am now in a lot of pain. I don't think I would have fallen so badly if there was outdoor lighting so I could see my way. I especially think outdoor lighting is important if the weather is bad. Overall I would recommend the property as it's a lovely place, but please be very very careful when using the hot tub!!! I would also like to know if the housekeepers will be installing outside lighting such as solar lights or similar?
