The cottage was an excellent base for visiting surrounding resorts and places of interest. It always helps to have a pleasant base and this holiday cottage was the most decorative and comfortable that we have ever stayed in, and the garden was full of interest and plants.

It was a lovely place where we were able to fully relax. The garden, conservatory were exceptional. The house was described by other visitors as quirky but we really liked it and enjoyed looking at all of the artefacts, paintings and prints on display. The beds were very comfortable. We would certainly go back.

The property was excellent, clean tidy and everything that you could require. In a great location to use as a base. Sitting in the superb garden was a pleasure.

The cottage was central for most of our destinations and the local village of Holt. The cottage was warm and well furnished and the bonus of the Hot Tub was excellent. Our party all enjoyed their stay at Ingleside and would go again.

This was our second holiday at Ingleside and we loved it just a much. It's like a little stately home full of antiques, pictures and ornaments as well as all the home comforts you could ask for. We had to drag ourselves out of the conservatory every morning, but luckily the location couldn't be better for travelling round as everywhere is in each reach. But my favourite feature is the hot tub.......absolutely brilliant.

Location was good, garden was good and looks nice from warm conservatory. Fun looking around at the owners various belongings on shelves etc. House had everything you might need for your stay.

Plenty of entertainment in the house, with TV/DVD in bedrooms, conservatory lounge and an extensive DVD collection. Beautiful garden with plenty of space to eat outside. The washing machine tumble dryer were very useful. Close to town shops and ample parking for 2 cars. WiFi computer were excellent. Lovely bathroom plenty of clean towels.

Excellent place for an adult holiday. The hot tub was spectacular with the changing colour lights and different water jets. Everything was comfortable with all you would need and a huge DVD collection.

The property was excellent and the garden was superb and this made eating outside an enjoyable experience. Overall we would strongly recommend Ingleside as either a bolt hole for a relaxing time or a base to explore the local countryside and attractions.

We had a relaxing week, and the hot tub is a bonus. Good place to stay for touring in that area.

The owner went to tremendous trouble to decorate the house and garden for Christmas. We enjoyed the proliferation of televisions in the house. We also liked the garden and the heated summer house. The area is lovely and we were able to go on many coastal walks and also visit Kings Lynn. We should like to return and have no hesitation in recommending this property to other people.

I would recommend this place but with some reservations. The plus points are definitely the location and the garden. The small town of Holt is delightful and this property is within easy walking distance of the town centre if you are at all mobile. The garden is enclosed and very well maintained. The interior of the house is obviously someone's pride and joy, but it was not to our taste. There were numerous ornaments and bits of china in display cases all over the place. There was a random mixture of pictures on the walls and a preponderance of cherubs, oddly mixed with more modern features -quite a few with do not touch/use signs, or with screws in the display cabinets, presumably to stop guests stealing their prized assets (not much chance of that in our case!!). The picture with the waterfall sound effects in the bedroom was "interesting". There seems little point in leaving a whole collection of china dinner service with do not use labels. (The whole dining room had a bit of a Miss Havisham feel about it- if you know your Dickens) Take it away and put in some useful dishwasher proof cheap stuff that is clean and usable! Unless the cookware has been replaced I recommend you take your own (at least a wok or frying pan) as the stuff left was not great. There are several hundreds of DVDs and televisions all over the place so if you go in the winter or you like films then you will love it. We were there last summer and I have only just got round to reviewing so it might be that they have changed some of this stuff already, or that someone new has taken over, so check other reviews too. The hot tub was a good feature.

But we loved it. Close enough for a walk into Holt and the other way to Holt Country Park. The hot tub at the bottom of the garden was used in the evening August rains with a Music system close to and a out building/shed (with tv) to dry off in. An amazingly extensive DVD collection. Watch a different one every night, even if you stayed for a year. Now, the divider. Ingleside has a fare share of ornaments and trinkets and knick knacks and paintings in every room, in every nook and cranny, on every available surface. Which tell us an intriguing story of its owners. But could be ott and clutter to others. How many is too many? Would we go back? Yes. Would we recommend it? Yes, but not to everyone.
