Check out my great reviews on TripAdvisor:

There is a patio area with garden furniture facing the sun. We provide a BBQ stand and utensils and can purchase disposable charcoal trays on your behalf, to start you off. There is also a gas BBQ stand & propane gas bottles. Sea and country views. Recently-planted Biomass willow bed.
The cottage is situated on its own ground: 1 acre of bogland with a steep hill up the back which you can climb up a bit & sit above, which has a fabulous panoramic view of the island, the boat coming in, etc.

Inishbofin is one of the few places in Ireland where a Blowhole can be seen. Sea stacks can be viewed at the Stags of Inishbofin. There are five villages: West Quarter, Fawnmore, Middle Quarter, Cloonamore and Knock. The beaches all around the island are really beautiful, unpolluted and a great attraction also for divers. The island attracts ecologists, bird-watchers, archaelogists, artists, writers.

Bicycle hire nearby; angling; shore fishing; hill climbing, swimming classes in July and August, snorkelling, diving; hire of hall at community centre for badminton, volleyball, table-tennis, indoor football etc; trips to Inishark, Inishturk and Clare Island can be arranged; also guided walks; football pitch; seal colony; bird watching (many rare birds including the corncrake); blow-holes & sea stacks; Leo Hallisey's Summer School of Ecology every July; Arts Festival every May; music concerts; lively pubs!

This cosy 2 bed cottage is the perfect spot for families or groups heading to Bofin. Situated right by the Dolphin Hotel, it is clean, modern and homely and overall a delightful stay. The owner was a pleasure to deal with with swift, efficient service and promptly returned my deposit.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay in this cottage. There was plenty of room for a family of four. The house is well equipped and has everything you require. Great location for the beach and the pub and hotel is very accessibile. We had a very enjoyable holiday here.

This house is in a great location, close to all amenities. It was only a few minutes cycle down to the pier and the kids loved the freedom of being able to get up and go themselves. However, we are a family of four and the apartment was probably that bit too small for all of us. We ate in the 'Beach Bar', 'Murrays - Doonmore Hotel' and the 'Dolpin Hotel', both places served fantastic food and most evenings music was in either place which was good. The boys did Dinghy sailing which they loved and we would highly recommend you book your kids on this before you even arrive on the Island as it is very popular. We were extremely grateful to 'Kieran' who is the owner of the hostel next door who took our bags down to the pier on the last day given that the taxi on the island was out of service. The people on the Island are a wonderfully friendly and very helpful group of people. All in all a fantastic place that you won't be disappointed you visited.

I stayed here with 3 of my brothers. The location is great, you're within walking distance of everything, hotel, youth hostel, harbour etc. Our beds (single beds) were very comfy, it's very clean, everything worked. Towels were provided and there was a hairdryer. One thing that would be handy is if there was another comfy chair in the kitchen area, but it may not fit. We didn't spend too much time sitting around as we were out and about walking, cycling, stand up paddle boarding.... By the way, we ate out two nights, once in the Dolphin Hotel and once in Days Pub and I have to say, the food was excellent!! So, Yes, overall a handy little cottage!!

Very centrally located on the island, being close to harbour as well as east end beaches. Apartment a little small for family with compact living area. Nothing to do with house/apt. but no mobile reception in the area, while apartment has good WiFi provided. Easy deal with owner and fair rental rate. Enjoyably 1 week stay.

I stayed here for a week with my husband. The apartment is ideally located, just a few minutes walk from the pier, shop etc, and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-equipped so we cooked every day, and there's a good library of DVDs and books for the inevitable rainy days! We were mostly very lucky with the weather though, and walked all around the island - the scenery is incredible. Just remember to bring warm and windproof clothes :)
