Island View Cottage is in a remote, quiet location but close-enough to Bantry town. It has fantastic views and a very well equipped kitchen. Spacious and comfortable.

We liked that there was so much space, we had everything we needed including provisions for a toddler and stunningly beautiful views. The owners were so accommodating.

The house was extremely comfortable and the area we stayed in was exceptionally beautiful. We also felt that the representation of the cottage by Hogans was extremely accurate.

The house was totally amazing, in every way possible. We spent Christmas week there, the house was equipped with every utensil and appliance anybody could need. The fire and stove were set and ready on arrival. The owner of the house was on hands should we need anything. The range for cooker was fabulous for entertaining. This house passed all our expectations. We will be returning.

Beautiful home with great location and wonderful hosts. Having lived in the area some years ago we used the holiday home as a base and visited friends and the gorgeous area. Superb place to stay with great facilities, real fires, large kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms.

We recently stayed in this cottage and had a terrific time. to call it a cottage does it no justice at all. The location is superb and the amenities first rate. From the moment we arrived and being met by the owner Dan O'Sullivan and his wife Dymphna who could not have been nicer and helpful we were comfortable and relaxed. it is also worth pointing out they have a sweet shop in Bantry called "Sweet stop" which is definitely worth a visit and more than once. If anybody is looking for a self catering holiday I would not just recommend this property but insist they must try and book it.

We had a family holiday at this super cottage ( more like a 5 star hotel )everything was perfect - clean with all the essentals anyone would need, the location is magnificent and so tranquil yet local to the town - would go back tomorrow and Dan the owner and his wife have that lovely Irish charm, hopefully we can go back again in the near future.

Really enjoyed our stay in this house. Perfect house for a large family or group. Plenty of space, superb kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cater for large groups. It is a bit of a hike up the hill from the town of Bantry and you would probably need your car but the quality and comfort of the house make up for it. We stayed there for the weekend of the Bay Run in Bantry and we had a group of 10 people staying and there was plenty of room and ideal for the large breakfast and chill out the day after the race, and plenty of bathrooms and showers for relaxing the sore muscles after the run. The owner is so nice... he even left fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits... could not fault it.

We had a great time. The pictures on the website don't do the house justice! It's in an amazing location with stunning views. The bedrooms were big, the kitchen well equipped and the dining room spacious. The owner was very helpful and we received a warm welcome. Highly recommended.
