It was peaceful and quiet and I liked the layout of the estate. Beautiful countryside and scenery, with a designated place for walking the dog without a leash, and ample parking. We had a really pleasant and relaxing holiday which we would recommend to friends and family.

Ivy Cottage was the perfect place to stay as it was in a central location for all the places we wanted to visit and the owners were most pleasant and helpful and we would not hesitate to go and stay there again.

The owners were so welcoming. The area is central to lots of attractions and the surrounding views are incredible. We are already considering when we can go back again. Cannot praise it enough, the decor is immaculate and we were not expecting so many things in the stock cupboard like tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls and kitchen foil, everything was there - please pass on our thanks to the owners.

Everything was just perfect. We wanted a short drive, a lovely location and few nights in a cottage, with opportunities for rest, relaxation, cooking, eating and a few nice long walks. Ivy Cottage just simply ticked all the boxes for us!

The cottage was very spacious with loads of light coming in and very warm. The owners of the cottage had the heating on. They couldn't do enough for us. Will be staying again, we had a brilliant time.
