What an amazing place to stay. The cottage was immaculate and so warm and cosy. The bed is super comfy and we loved the log burner too. Couldn't pick any faults at all. The owners are fantastic hosts, they made us feel so welcome and have done a great job with the cottage. It really is a home from home. The kids loved the animals, especially having the pleasure of bottle feeding the baby lambs. Also it was amazing sitting in the hot tub at night in such lovely surroundings, gazing at the stars. Would definitely come back.

We liked the hot tub to relax in, with country views and walks around the lake and beyond. The owners made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. The cottage is in a beautiful location and extremely comfortable. We were warm and cosy when it sleeted but able to take full advantage of the large sunny patio overlooking the lake, once the weather improved.

Having spent 7 nights in this wonderful retreat with it's picturesque views we were sad to leave. This was the first time we have visited Jay's Hatch but it certainly will not be the last.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were very good and sole use of the hot tub was available throughout. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

A lovely area to visit, with quiet lanes and lovely countryside; made even better by the warm welcome from the hosts. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the hot tub was really welcome after the long bike rides!

The owners were excellent hosts. The cottage was presented in a lovely manner, and the hosts were very friendly and courteous, a real delight and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Fishing on site was great and sampling the home produce was great. The hot tub at night in the surroundings was lovely.
