Possibly the best cottage we have ever stayed in - a true home from home - it was everything we could have wished for and more. I would recommend this cottage to anyone in need of rest and relaxation.

Lovely cosy cottage, easy to keep warm and nice to get back to after a day out in the cold. The owner has obviously made a big effort to make visitors feel welcome.

What a gem of a place this is, we did not want to leave, so glad we found this cottage and cant wait to go back. Also there is a nice pub with some characters there just across the road. The cottage has a lovely garden and the Rayburn in the kitchen kept us lovely and warm whilst it was -8 outside. Highly recommend this cottage.

We loved the garden with the little bench on the bridge over the stream. We enjoyed eating our breakfast outside in the mornings. The living room was very cosy and characterful with the log burner, and a comfortable sofa to cuddle up on. The attention to detail made this property more comfortable and interesting, such as the thermos flasks and sandwich bags for our picnics. The wine, milk and biscuits were a welcome touch upon arrival too.

The cottage although small was very pretty, clean and welcoming. The garden was fabulous with doggy toys which my dog loved and the stream which he also loved. The wood burner made the chilly nights warm, with a large stock of wood. From this cottage we spent many days out to see castles, and Pendine Sands which was 15 minutes away, so the location was spot on.

Well equipped, clean house, with a bottle of wine, chocolate biscuits, tea, coffee and a pint of milk to greet us on arrival. Quiet location, even being next to a road, and friendly locals. A great location to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Had a great relaxing time and would recommend.

Johnny's cottage is a small and convinient but complete holiday cottage. There is a very warm welcome. Beautiful place to visit the south of Wales. Enough history, culture, nature and walks (St. Davids, Manorbier) in the neibourhood.
August 2013
Excellent accommodation. Well situated for exploring South and mid Wales. Only one pub in village very friendly landlord and regulars. No eating places in village though
