This was a homely cottage in a wonderful location with spectacular views. It wasn’t a luxury cottage, but then it isn’t advertised as such. However, it was perfectly comfortable, cosy and clean. Some of the white goods were brand new, the cooker a little old and dated but, again clean and functional. The larder contained a huge selection of those little extras that make self-catering so much easier, herbs, spices, flour, sugar, etc, etc. All in all we loved every minute of our stay and may well return for another visit.

Kilbrannan Cottage is a perfect base for a holiday on the Kintyre peninsula. With stunning views of Arran, and just 5 minutes to the ferry, it is perfect. A short drive to the other side and you can get the ferry to Islay and Jura. The accommodation was sited in an excellent location. The cottage was very homely and had just about everything we needed. We would not hesitate to go back again.

Excellent location, beautiful views, relaxing area. Friendly locals. Enjoyed peace and quiet, also handy for ferries and travelling further a field. Also enjoyed having the log fires and the coal fires on an evening very cosy reminders of my childhood days. Also liked the quaintness of the cottage.
