This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed at this charming property with my 92 year old Mum. There is always a warm welcome from the owners and the accommodation is always clean and cosy. We will certainly return there again and we highly recommend it to friends and family.

The property owners were very welcoming and very helpful. The house was beautiful and the log burner was just what we needed with the snow outside.

This was the best holiday cottage we've stayed at, there was a high standard of cleanliness and equipment and very comfy beds. The owners gave a very warm welcome and greetings throughout our stay. Seeing the working farm was a bonus for our young children. There were wonderful views, a beautiful garden and a fantastic rope swing! Will definitely be returning here.

Loved everything! A wonderful cottage, truly a home from home, we couldn't have asked for anything better. It was clean, comfy, well equipped, with super comfy beds and bedding, and was quiet. The AGA was incredible to cook on, we usually eat out but it was a real pleasure cooking every night!

We have stayed at Kittys before. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing break. The owners are very welcoming and the extra touches of flowers, cake and wine etc., are extremely thoughtful. We would certainly recommend this cottage to family and friends.

It was in a lovely quiet location but a short drive away from lots of things to see/do. Accommodation was wonderful, more like staying in someone's own home due to the level of care and attention given to everything you might need, rather than a holiday rental.

The cottage is really beautiful and it is in a very quiet and peacefully area. The house is big, well furnished and nicely decorated. I liked the kitchen with the big window and the interesting Aag cooker. Very comfortable that every room has its own bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at Kitty's - a very convenient situation for just about everything, but still enjoying the peace and quiet of the position on a dairy farm. The cottage was immaculate, very well furnished, with a wonderful dining kitchen (with Aga) and great bathroom facilities. The excellent central heating was a blessing as we had everything from sunshine to snow during our vacation! I would have no hesitation in recommending Kitty's Cottage to anyone and if we are ever in the UK again, we would certainly book this cottage.

Very warm welcome from the owners, who had lit a fire for us, left freshly baked scones with fresh cream and jam, and fresh flowers. Couldn't fault the place.

We enjoyed everything about this holiday. The owner was so welcoming, and made sure that we knew where everything was, as well as telling us about the area and good places to eat. The house was immaculate and there was a good supply of towels, kitchen accessories and cleaning equipment. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

I particularly enjoyed the strong country feel of Kitty's! We only live 3miles away and in suburbia but at Kitty's you felt you were whisked into a country hide away. It was really nice touch to have a cake and wine left. On the whole it was easy to quickly clean everywhere!

The cottage was great and the owner really welcoming and friendly. Located on a farm with lovely views, the cottage has recently been renovated and furnished to a high standard. There are great places to eat nearby and it is convenient for Manchester and walking in the Peak District. Marple Locks are worth a visit.

Marple cottage is a home from home. Every room is tastefully decorated and furnished. When we had snow during our stay we were happy to light the wood burner and snuggle down for the day. The aga was a delight. It was quiet at night, private and close to both city and country.

March 2013
The property had a feeling of 'home' and we all wanted to live at Kitty's. The second lounge was brilliant for the children to escape to leaving the lounge/kitchen a quieter and spacious place! The aga was fantastic - I want one! The views over to Kinder Scout are fab. The fresh milk from the farm and the general hospitality and friendliness from the owners who also very much respected your privacy despite living next door to the cottage. We really couldn't fault the whole experience.

Great Cottage, warm, cosy, clean and extremely clean and well looked after. The owners were very friendly and had a delicious carrot cake and wine waiting for us on arrival. Situated on a dairy farm with great country air and picturesque views. Close access to other scenic sites and easy distance to Stockport and Manchester via car or train from Marple. Lots of great eateries close by. Had an unforgettable stay. Maurie and Paula
