The cottage was lovely and clean and very well furnished and equipped. We were particularly pleased to find a slow cooker. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring the local area or for hibernating!

The cottage was better than we expected and we felt so at home in it. Everything we needed was available, including a good supply of logs for the stove. The village and local people were extremely pleasant and the rail service was cheap and frequent. It was an ideal situation from which to explore the Dales.

Good standard of fixtures and fittings. The house had a lovely feel to it, very warm and cosy. Location was good for visiting the surrounding areas. The village was pleasant with two pubs and a well stocked village shop. We had a really lovely weekend.

A beautifully presented cottage in a great location with easy access to the Dales, York and Leeds. It had everything you could need and there were lovely touches such as a bottle of wine left for us and a welcome note from the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cononley. The cottage was beautiful; the log burner was perfect on the chilly winter evenings, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The furnishings were very good quality and the village was delightful. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to go back one day. Thank you so much.

Cottage was to a high standard and conveniently located to access walks, Skipton etc with good bus and train services if you do not have a car. Local amenities included a village store, pub and takeaway. Owner was also very helpful and friendly and provided a very welcome tray of tea and biscuits for both us and the dog on arrival.

We liked the fact that we were close to the Yorkshire Dales, with easy access to the main attractions. The train at the bottom of the street was also handy for getting to Skipton. The cottage was very well furnished and very well equipped. It was cosy, yet spacious and there was plenty of room. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was great! There was a wide selection of CDs, DVDs and books, which was lovely. The welcome tray that the owner provided was also a nice touch. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to family and friends.

The cottage was really lovely and cosy, with a small outside place for our dog and us to sit. The train from the bottom of the street was great as we could leave the car at home. There were two friendly pubs and a lovely Chinese takeaway. All in all a very good place to stay!

The cottage was warm and comfortable, despite the rain and misery outside! The heating and hot water system gave us plenty of warmth and hot water. The kitchen was very well stocked and the shower was excellent, being separate from the bath.
