There are castles, craft centres and mills across the landscape as well as the mysterious Merlin's Hill Centre, shrouded in myth and legend and rich in wildlife. Lavender Cottage was superb, very well equipped and very welcoming. We were pleased with the enclosed yard at the back so we could leave the door open for the dog. I would certainly recommend this Cottage to anyone.

Lavender cottage was very good value for money the week we picked. We enjoyed the relaxed and homely atmosphere of the cottage. Lots of nice touches and the cottage was equipped over and above the norm. Lavender cottage is in an absolutely brilliant location close to the beach with breathtaking views. It is close to a restaurant, pub and stores and has the great advantage of a regular train and bus service. We found everyone very helpful and friendly, including a local garage who checked my car when a warning light came on. We would definitely go again.

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for 6 people to enjoy, especially the 2 year old to run around in! Beautifully decorated, homely and cosy. Ferryside is a quiet, unspoilt location.

The cottage is in a very good position for the beach which if you have a dog is great. The neighbours are friendly and helpful. The property itself was very good.

The Cottage was lovely and homely, very comfortable and clean. A short distance, 5 minutes walk downhill, was the lovely friendly village pub, followed by the beach and the yacht club, who also made us very welcome. There is a restaurant in the village, that serves the best fish n chips I have ever tasted and was good value for money. There are the most beautiful beaches is the area which were virtually empty. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing holiday I have had in a long time.
