The cleanliness was superb throughout the cottage. The owner came to say hello and then left us alone to enjoy our holiday. The cottage was situated ideally for travelling to other places. All in all a lovely place to stay.

The property was an excellent base for exploring Norfolk, especially by bike and had easy access to coast and country. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well furnished. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, watching the birds and were even visited by a deer.

We had a lovely time; we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and were given information to make our stay perfect. The accommodation was like a home from home. It was a great location, peaceful and beautiful and we could watch the Deer and other wildlife up close from the patios. It was a great location for visiting some great sights and attractions too. We would highly recommend.

The owners had perfectly prepared everything down to the last detail. They were very welcoming and always on hand if we had needed anything during our time there. The rural location is very peaceful with very little light pollution so we enjoyed some beautiful night skies. Being able to return to a 'home from home' and put our feet up to relax made it the perfect break for us.

The space in the lodge was excellent, we have never had so much space in a two person accommodation. We like rooms with plenty of light, and this property with windows on both sides of the rooms gave this. We like the countryside, so being on the edge of a wood was perfect for us, in all a perfect week.

Our cottage was a 'home from home' as soon as we stepped inside it. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for them. The cottage(s) are situated in a rural spot near woodland and fields of barley. Red deer seen one morning and a multitude of small birds feed in the garden each day. Lovely spot for fishing/walking/bird watching, nearby village has nice pub and small shop.

The owner phoned beforehand to offer directions, a contact number and to ask if we wanted anything specific to be provided. Our host also provided a number of extra things to make our stay even more pleasant, e.g. a small Christmas tree, teabags and milk ready for our arrival. Everything was perfect, we had the best Christmas we have ever had.

We liked the cottage's central location for all the nature reserves we visited. We enjoyed the huge number and variety of wildlife reserves and the friendliness of all the locals we chatted to.

I don't know what star grade you gave this property but if it wasn't 10 you didn't give it enough, the owners are the finest you could meet and the welcome pack puts top rated hotels to shame. I have to get around on a mobility scooter and the owners made sure my scooter batteries were fully charged every night ready for our trips out every day. We can't thank them enough for making our holiday worth travelling for, and we wont hesitate to go there again.

Quiet location, easy access to all Norfolk. Lovely cottage kept in a very high standard by the owner, who herself was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lots of good attractions within 30 mile radius of cottage. Highly recommend.

Just stayed here whilst house hunting in Norfolk. Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped in a peaceful setting. The owner Jackie was so helpful, offering to print house details off the internet and letting us use her map book. On arrival there was milk teabags and coffee as well as biscuits - most welcome. Would highly recomend these cottages. Centrally placed with good access to A47.

The service we received was excellent, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The bungalow was very clean and tidy and met all our requirements. Lovely peaceful location off the beaten track but close enough to all local amenities. Would have liked to be fenced off from the owners dog as I am allergic,so did not use the garden patio. What did I like best? :- the location and the peace and quiet

my wife and i have stopped in both little lodge 1 and 2 over the last couple of years and both cottages are five star the welcome pack alone is worth five stars and the owners are very pleasant and helpfull i require a electric scooter to get around on and they made sure it was fully charged each and every night ready for the next days touring i would recomend Little Lodge 1 and 2 plenty of elbow room in both and realy clean.
