The area is an excellent location for bird watchers and nature lovers due to the Long Eared Owl population and the resident Muntjac Deer. Nearby is the busy market town of Mold which offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst slightly further afield is the Jacobean Nercwys Hall which was built in 1638 and boasts a display of over 20,000 articles known as the Gathering of Jewels.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the little wooden cottage, it was very quaint and cosy, would recommend it and hopefully would like to go again. Wales is a beautiful place and there are plenty of places to walk and visit.

Brilliant little property. A really good enclosed garden, so the dog was safe to be let out on his own. If we ever go back to this region I would definitely hope to stay here again!

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the cottage - the cottage was perfect, small and cosy, spotlessly clean, comfy, quiet, private and well equipped with every kitchen pot and utensil needed. The appliances provided were excellent - heating efficient. The village and area were lovely. Top marks - can't fault it and have recommended it to many friends already.

The accommodation was very comfortable and cosy. The location was very convenient for North Wales and Chester, and the village itself very quiet and relaxing. The outside decking, BBQ and patio furniture made it very easy to enjoy al fresco dining and opened up the living space considerably.

It looked like a wooden shack when we arrived, but opening the front door revealed an excellently refurbished cottage, with high quality furniture and fittings. We were very comfortable there, and Mold is an great centre for exploring Wales, as it is in the centre of many attractions, all within easy travelling. We reccomend a pub called "We Three at Odds" about five miles out of the town, for excellent meals and bar snacks.
