The view of the estuary was very good from the property. There were a lot of lovely beaches nearby. The people of Malltraeth were very friendly and there were lots of walks for the dog.

A really homely and warm cottage which was very peaceful and in a lovely spot. There were excellent walks on your doorstep and within a very quick drive was possibly one of the nicest beaches I've been to in Newborough Warren Ynys Llanddwyn.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Everything we needed was there, that was our reason for wanting to go back there. I could not find anything negative about this cottage or location. Will go back again.

This is our third visit to Anglesey and the cottage and location was head and shoulders above the other two. It had a nice balance between holiday cottage and comfort. There were plenty of tiled areas to dry dogs and walks literally on the door step. We won't be looking at any other cottage when we return to Anglesey.

The cottage was appointed to high standard with a high level of equipment provided and a great deal of thought to the needs of holidaymakers such as local information, tourist info and facilities in the property. Location was fabulous for walkers and the neighbours, villagers and property owners very friendly and helpful. Would certainly visit again and recommend to others.

The location is what really sets the property apart from others of a similar standard we have stayed in. The cottage is in a fantastic position overlooking the estuary with the mountains in the background. Anglesey is lovely and the people are very friendly.

Malltraeth Cottage was a really warm, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It has been refurbished to a high standard. The views across the estuary and to the mountains are lovely and the walks nearby really good. The owner was very helpful with queries too.

An absolutely lovely cottage, everything you could ask for out in the countryside :) Enjoyed a lovely New Years with friends whilst storm Frank raged around us. Would have made more of the surroundings if it weren't for all the rain! The one walk we did attempt was made all the better by walking into the lovely warm cottage and throwing all the wet kit into the tumble drier. The pub up the road that should serve food appears to be changing hands and was shut, but I mention it only as a heads up to plan your trip :) Between the Lidl in Hollyhead and the well stocked kitchen at the cottage, we had amazing meals. My friend arranging the trip also mentioned how lovely the owner was, who phoned before we arrived to make sure we were happy and give us all the info we would need. Would definitely recommend this cottage and plan on trying to get down there in the summer.

Nice small cottage. Reasonably well equipped. Great setting for bird watching, walks etc. Nothing much in the village. 2 very poor pubs chippy/newsagent. To call it a garden is ridiculous. Tiny triangular paved area outside the back door. Loads of noisy dogs next door. Brilliant walks nearby made the holiday enjoyable though

The cottage was in a lovely position with a view of the estuary, very clean and apart from the very steep stairs very comfortable. With the bathroom being on the ground floor I think it would be difficult for any older people not in the main en-suite bedroom to have to master the stairs especially in the night. The only down side was that among the 5 neighbouring cottages were 10 dogs which were let out into the car park to do what it is they do... so had to watch footing when getting from car to house. But the lady next door had 5 dogs and at least she used to clean up after them. Had a wonderful week with very good weather.

Beautiful view over the estuary , next to waters edge , footpath to Newborough Forest from house is a fabulous walk , local shop very friendly , near to all beauty spots in anglesey and Snowdonia . Cottage warm and cozy . Beware the neighbour's dog who may leave little parcels outside the back gate and will invite himself into the house if the door is left open . The staircase is very narrow at the bottom and may hinder getting large cases upstairs . A lovely weeks holiday .

The house was more than adequate without being overtly luxurious. The setting was idyllic although it didn't seem so initially. Loads to do in the area and everything we needed available. Bathrooms not really quite up to scratch but rest of accommodation and hosts absolutely faultless (couple of things went wrong while we were there and hosts had replacements/fixes within a few hours). Once again Sykes exceeded expectations.

This is a lovely cottage in an excellent setting,it has everything needed for a relaxing holiday, the downside to this is the view in the back garden, an ugly grey stone building that is used to house dogs, the garden set up is very strange,be very aware of the dog poo outside your garden gate where neighbours allow their dogs to excercise and do their ablutions wherever they please and it is usually right outside the gate,as dog lovers we took our dogs for a walk on leads and cleaned up their poo. The other thing that we were not too pleased about was the fact that it came to our attention that neighbours had keys to the property, nobody else should be able to have access to the property while guests are there, we probably would not go back again for the reasons stated but the cottage itself is very comfortable indeed.

Very nice week's holiday with family and dog. The walk around angelsey literally outside and with lots of wild life. Cottage was very well equipped with all kinds of helpful bits eg foil and cling film for sandwiches... washing up liquid;dishwasher tablets, etc. Off the beaten track with no local resturants but cottage was a pleasure to stay in after a days walking.Pubs were good but no food. Anglesey very old fashioned (in a good way) and lots of Welsh speakers! Easy to get to Snowdonian,Bangor and Portmerion Would recommend
