Beautiful cottage in lovely setting. We had young children with us and they had plenty of space to move about. A wonderful holiday! The children also liked there being horses in the stables to the rear of the property, it kept them quiet for a good few minutes at a time!

December 2011
Excellent accommodation. Everything about the Manor Barn is 1st class. Comfy beds, comfy furniture and a modern TV. All rooms were clean and modern. Kitchen has all the utensils you need for self catering. Would definitely stay again. 10/10.
June 2015
A beautiful barn conversion in a quite village, perfect for our needs. The owner was friendly and helpful. The entrance/dining area is fantastic, as is the large kitchen. We were all very happy.
November 2015
The fire alarm in the kitchen is in the vicinity of the oven which make it very difficult. When you take something from the oven then the alarm goes of, and the rest of the firealarms in the house as well. Where we were extremely worried about is when something happens like fire and escape route from bedroom on the 1st floor to the hall is no longer possible. Then you are trapped as in the upstairs bedrooms you cannot escape through the windows. These windows are too high. For save reasons this should be looked at and we see that as very important. The seat of the dining chairs are bad so you get problems with your back. Should really be replaced for the same quality as the rest of the property.
December 2014
We had an excellent stay with my extended family. The property is beautifully remodeled and lacks no convenience. It was easy to find, clean, and quiet. I would recommend it to anyone traveling with four adults and a few children.
November 2014
traveled from Norfolk for a quiet and relaxed long weekend at manor barn, the building is just gorgeous the photos do not do it justice, this conversion has been sympathetically done and to a very high standard, its was so warm and cosy the whole time we were there, we even had a welcome cake waiting for us, i cannot compliment this place enough if i could pick it up and bring it home with me i would, it was far beyond our expectations, and a wonderful get away from our hectic work lives. thank you for allowing us a stay in this wonderful historic building
April 2014
A really lovely property I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good base for a family holiday. We all loved the comfort of the barn and I even got used to the beams upstairs! It is a beautiful conversion.
September 2014
Nicely converted, high quality accommodation. Peaceful quiet location, and lovely walks and open countryside all around. Owner welcoming and available if needed, together with a welcome cake. Bedrooms all well equipped and comfortable large beds. Opposite the barn Harry lives in a field which delighted our 3 year old grandson, feeding him one of the highlights of his day. The kitchen well equipped but be aware of the very eager fire alarms, close the door while cooking! This is a good place all year round, can imagine being cosy in the winter, tho we went in summer and had good weather. Lots of pubs around for meals, Lincoln of course (with Mrs Browns pie shop on Steep Hill) and we trekked to Mablethorpe and what a fab beach miles and miles of it! All in all a great place and reasonable cost - thoroughly recommended
December 2012
Beautifully appointed spacious retreat in a delightful small village. Plenty of room and equipment for our family of five adults, and plenty of parking space. Pretty countryside around, with some easy walks. Easy access to Boston, Grantham, some NT properties and bird-watching on the Wash. We all really enjoyed the whole week. And we all enjoyed watching the activities of the horses in the stables behind!
March 2014
The cottage is in a delightful setting with a church at the front and stables at the rear. It is very spacious inside and has good quality furnishings and fittings, very comfortable sofas and beds, with everything you could need for a fantastic stay. The village is more of a hamlet and you would need to travel by car for any provisions or a pub visit, it is rural and very peaceful. We loved watching the horses let out each morning and returned each evening.....
December 2012
Thsi was a very enjoyable experience! the place is great, full of character. Lots of small details which count for a wonderful stay! only thing missing was the potatoe masher! Shame that we stayed in autumn as we could not make the most of the lovely countryside around the barn. A definite recommendation from us!
March 2012
I've just spent a week at Manor Barn with my husband and son and had a wonderful time. The barn has been renovated to a really high standard and beautifully decorated. We had huge amounts of space - perfect for being away with a 3 year old (and his scooter!). The barn's in a beautiful setting - next to the village church, and the back overlooks stables. There's plenty of (gated) space out the front for children to play. There's nothing at all to do in the village - apart from use it as a base for walks. There's no pub or shop, but the nearest village isn't too far away for that sort of thing. For a peaceful break in Lincolnshire I'd definitely recommend this place - it was really lovely.
January 2012
I stayed at Manor Barn for a long weekend in November to celebrate my birthday. On arrival we were delighted by the high standard of cleanliness and decor and even more importantly the space. The barn was exactly what we were looking for and we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation!
