Coach House was beautifully decorated and provided everything you could possibly need. In a quiet position yet close to both seaside resorts and local places of interest. Would love to return.

We all felt at home straight away. The boot room was so practical especially with 2 children on board. We all loved the bathroom - the huge bath was wonderful. The bedrooms were lovely, the beds were very comfy. All in all we loved the house so much, we didn't want to leave. The children loved the garden. The views from the house were stunning. We have already recommended to family and friends. We shall definitely be making a return visit!

Melgate Coach House is bar far the best cottage we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The master bedroom is huge and beautifully furnished. The bed is so comfortable it meant that we relaxed from the very first night. Every little thing has been thought about to make the experience enjoyable for all. We loved our stay and would have no hesitation to recommend this fantastic cottage to our family and friends.

A delightful discovery! An idyllic cottage set in a beautiful location. Loved the tack room to store coats, shoes, dog bowls and cycle gear. An excellent cottage in peaceful surroundings, very spacious luxurious accommodation. We particularly loved the huge master bedroom, the gorgeous bath and the wood burners. The cottage is very centrally situated and many fantastic attractions are within a few miles - Castle Howard, Eden Camp. Nunnington Hall, Yorkshire Lavender, Helmsley and Riveaux to name a few - so many we couldn't fit them all in. We will just have to go again !! All in all we absolutely loved it. (Just needs more teaspoons !!)

We have just returned from a week at this gorgeous house. The location is to die for with many 'tourist attractions' just a short drive away and absolutely perfect for Castle Howard. The garden was great for the children to play in safely and the lane outside was also ideal for them to ride on their scooters daily! The house itself was superb. Lots of space, superb bath and shower, spacious kitchen and eating area, and wifi too. Our hosts Bernard & Rosemarie left some lovely little messages and 'gifts' to make us feel right at home. If you are looking for a little bit of luxury right within the Yorkshire countryside, we cannot recommend this highly enough.
