There is a pub and well-equipped, friendly post office within ½ mile of the cottage.Denver Sluice offers pub with restaurant and there is sailing along the River Ouse. Welney Wetland Centre, a 1000-acre nature reserve for wetland birds is a must for any enthusiast. The beaches and RSPB nature and bird reserves are found along the North Norfolk Coast.
