We stayed at Moors Edge cottage with our little dog, our second stay at this cottage. Its set back from the main road down a short farm track - mind the chickens and sheep as you approach the cottage!
Its a real home from home for us with everything you could possibly want including a dishwasher. The underfloor heating and log burner guarantee cosy evenings whatever the weather. The views up and down Rosedale are amazing and the cottage is always spotlessly clean and the homemade bread and fresh eggs on arrival are fantastic. There are walks from the door up onto the moors, or down Chimney Bank into the village. Be sure to stop at the White Horse Farm Inn for a drink and something to eat - see another of my reviews.
The cottage is situated in a lovely part of the moors with Hutton-Le-Hole just up the road and Pickering and Kirbymoorside not too far away.
Annie is very friendly but leaves you to get on with having a lovely holiday, she is often to be seen buzzing around the hills on her small ATV!
We have been for the past 2 years and have booked to stay again this year, a lovely cottage, well looked after in Gods own country - what more could you want?
