Mount Brandon Cottage was very clean, homely and had fantastic views of the mountains in all directions. Brandon / Cloghane is a beautiful, quiet, and friendly place. We all really enjoyed our holiday and are considering booking the same house for the same weeks next year.

The house is situated in a spectacular location under Mt. Brandon with lovely views from each window. The closest beach is only a three minute drive away and Dingle and Castlegregory are easily accessed. The setting is very tranquil and we found the holiday extremely relaxing. The caretaker is lovely, very friendly and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here.

We never tire of the ever changing vistas of mountains and sea. Beautiful, long, almost deserted beaches which you can drive on to. Great walking and fishing opportunities. Wonderful pubs.

The house was perfect, relaxed atmosphere, and in a great location.

As regular visitors to this part of the Dingle Penninsula we know cloghane well. This well proportioned large cottage is family friendly and very affordable compared to others in the area. It sleeps up to 10 in 4 bedrooms but could easily sleep 12-14 as the upstairs bedrooms could easily take 2 doubles. there is ample storage in all the rooms. TIP: bring some clothes hangers...big wardrobes but few hangers.! Large bathroom is great and open family room downstairs with open fire is lovely...However, there are some things which need some TLC. Both showers are poor and the newer one in the small wetroom downstairs has really low pressure. Some of the furniture needs updating (especially the patio furniture) but just for comfort really. There is a baby cot but NOT very much baby bedding. There's lots of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen but very few glasses for 10 people...the outside space is limited but there is a good patio area. Would definitely use the house again and recommend to's 1km walk into the village and more importantly to a great pub called O'connors which has live music on Sunday and Wednesday nights.

Very easy booking process and easy liaison with local housekeeper. Spacious and comfortable family holiday base with all key amenities and facilities. Beautifully located below Mount Brandon with great mountain views. Easy access to the whole of the Dingle Peninsular with its outstanding mountain views and seascapes. Excellent local pubs in Cloghane and Brandon. Small local shop with supermarket at Castlegregory 15 minute drive or 25 minutes to Dingle across the Connor Pass. Good beaches, fishing and walking nearby. Ideal area for a relaxing or an active holiday.
