This holiday house exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, the views were wonderful and the beds very comfortable. The house was very nicely presented and spacious, much bigger than it looks from the road. The decking was a lovely base to watch the sunset and listen to the stream and birds. It was particularly nice to be set in such a large plot and was hence very quiet and private. We found it an idyllic location. We'll be back!

The property was very well presented. it was very clean and very modern throughout. It was in a great spot and was away from it all, but close enough to Bala to walk. The decking area was great, and had terrific views over the hills and also down to the Lake. The family who owned the property were very friendly and helpful.

Words cannot describe how great this place is, wish we could have stayed the week, but weren't able to due to work. But only when you get to Nantllyn that you can really take in the beauty of this holiday home and its surroundings.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. It was immaculate throughout, plenty of space and in a completely lovely, private location with a brilliant view. We were not far from local amenities and the surrounding scenery was stunning!

The cottage far outweighed our expectations; it was very comfortable, clean and had every convenience needed for an enjoyable stay. I would say that the pictures on the internet did not do it justice, the overall accommodation was far bigger than expected. We had a great time and would certainly go back again.

We booked this cottage in anticipation of our annual boys holiday somewhere quiet and scenic in the British Isles, and this trip was right up there with the very best. We were greeted by the owner who kindly escorted us to the property after we called him due to our poor navigation. Once at the cottage the owner, a very friendly, helpful, and warm individual showed us around the property and informed us of all the vital tips and functions of the place. The cottage itself is located in stunning surroundings overlooking Lake Bala and the adjacent eponymous village. There are plenty of outdoor activities in and around the area, particularly in Snowdonia National Park. I must echo other visitor's remarks regarding the photos of the cottage on the website and that they do not do justice! The cottage is much larger than how it appears in the photos, the amenities are excellent, the land around the area is vast, very pleasant and serene. It is an ideal location for a peaceful retreat with friends and family which is priced exceptionally well considering what it is. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone. I enjoyed the experience so much that I am definitely going to be returning there with my family next time. This cottage will not disappoint and will definitely exceed expectations.

We spent a week at Nantllyn and the property was absolutely wonderful, the photos just don't do it justice. We were a family of seven and there was more than enough room for us, we were so comfortable we didn't want to come home. Top marks for everything, we're already planning our next trip there.

This holiday rental completely exceeded our expectations. We hired it to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and stayed as a group of three couples, one adult and two children. There are so many rooms that we never felt cramped. This house has a beautiful interior with a fabulous family room including kitchen, dining and sitting areas. There is a separate sitting room as well. There are two bathrooms including one with a lovely large bath and one with a superb shower. The house is so well equipped with loads of fluffy towels and bedding all supplied. There are games and DVDs for the children. When we arrived we were greeted with a tasty chocolate cake made by the owners which was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. We used the house as a weekend base to visit Llandudno but it has great access to so many lovely places to visit. The little ones also enjoyed running around outside on the massive lawn. I highly recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to stay there again. It is clear that the owners have made every effort to create a peaceful and beautiful haven for their guests.

I stayed at Nantllyn for two weeks. It is a beautiful place with great views over Bala, the surrounding hills / valleys and the lake. The property is very well equipped and furnished, with real attention to detail. e.g. modern setup including a great kitchen (dishwasher, induction cooker, american style fridge / freezer), a fantastic open area between the lounge and kitchen, as well as a spacious decking area to enjoy the views. The owners were very friendly and helpful, without over-imposing. The property was also exceptionally clean on arrival, and it just felt like every effort had been made to make for a great holiday.

We just came back from Nantlyn for a 6 night holiday. We truly enjoyed our stay and the view from the house is amazing. The lake and the surrounding countryside side is beautiful indeed. The house itself is very spacious. The open plan kitchen /diner with sitting room is very good for bonding. All the rooms are big and spacious. Love the Smart TV. The house is just a mile from the shop which is very handy if you need something from the grocery store. A very beautiful holiday house.

What a brilliant place, I managed to find through Sykes cottages! Group of 7 of us decided to go for a 3-4 day break! (Too short in my opinion) The hosts were fantastic, we were a group of 7 lads, they allowed us to have our own BBQ and be able to have Shisha/hookah (outside the property) and were really friendly! The locals were brilliant (the town which is less than 1 mile away by car has a co-op and spar) really helped us! A great place especially if you want to on the outskirts of Snowdonia I mean amazing sea views! This place is so brilliant, you have to go! The cottage is pure class! We are booking again this year! Amazing family or groups, something for everyone to do!

The owners were very welcoming, and the cottage was absolutely spectacular. The pictures on the web site do not do the cottage justice, it is a lot bigger in person. The view from cottage was lovely.
