We loved the large lounge area with the two fires as it was very cosy and there was room for everyone. We had a really relaxing time and made use of the dining area for breakfast and dinner on one of the evenings. We would certainly make use of the barbeque if we were to stay in warmer weather.

A really lovely house that provided more than we could have asked for. We thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would definitely recommend it to others.

Absolutely magnificent, not one fault. If we come back to the UK, this place is a definite for a repeat visit. The presentation is a credit to the owners. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely property.

We chose this cottage as it is in a village close to where my grandparents married during the war and we wanted to see it. Okeford Fitzpaine is a beautiful quiet little village with a small children's playground over the road from the cottage which was ideal for my daughter. The cottage is thatched with a large garden and three bedrooms. A cot and high chair were provided for my toddler and she slept very well. The cottage is comfortable and also has Wi-Fi and Netflix which was a bonus. I can certainly recommend this as a place to stay. It is within easy reach of coastal towns Bournemouth, Poole and Lulworth Cove and areas of Thomas Hardy country as well as Corfe Castle.

The farmhouse has been superbly renovated. Its location is wonderful with good walks both from the doorstep and within a short drive. We liked the careful attention to period detail in the property, while at the same time having access to all the mod cons that are expected today - broadband, wi-fi, bluetooth speaker, a good quality TV, etc. Not so "mod con", but very charming for us children of the 70s, was the gramophone and collection of excellent LPs. The farmhouse is very thoughtfully kitted out and it feels just like home from home from the moment you arrive. We booked directly through the owners' own website - netherwayfarmhouse.co.uk - and the process was attentive, smooth and efficient. Dog friendly, too. All in all, a thoroughly comfortable and pleasant break and we have no hesitation in awarding top marks.

Nether way Farmhouse oozes charm while still having all modern comforts. The owners have restored it beautifully and I defy anyone to stay there and not dream of owning it themslelves! The village is quiet and charming but easy driving to Sturminster and Blandford. The walking is spectacular and there are plenty of pubs serving really good food. We will definitely be booking again and would strongly recommend it. Just perfect!

This place exceeded our expectations in every way, being very well maintained and cleaned with all housekeeping needs available such as cleaning materials kitchen appliances etc. The large garden was secluded and had furniture and a b gas barbeque. We didn't come from far away but wanted to stay close by to where our son was getting married. We were so pleased we booked the whole week. It was bliss. We know the surrounding area and it is awe inspiring. The village is quaint and the local pub The Oak is good and serves really decent food.

It is a huge thatched cottage that had everything we needed for a relaxed family holiday.
