There is a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with single sofabed and electric fire. Outside is a decked and gravelled garden, and parking can be found on the roadside. Number 15 is just ten minutes' walk from the amenities of Shrewsbury, including Theatre Severn, riverside walks, boat trips, shops, pubs and restaurants, with the rest of Shropshire ready to be explored.
Shrewsbury is an attractive historic town in Shropshire, famed for its black-and-white buildings, castle and abbey. The town was the birthplace of Charles Darwin, and offers a very good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, along with museums, galleries and the lovely new Theatre Severn. The River Severn is a focal point of the town, offering pleasant riverside walks and pleasure boat trips. From Shrewsbury it is easy to enjoy some of Shropshire's best attractions, from the mansion and deer park at NT Attingham Park, to the ten museums at Ironbridge, the wonderful countryside around Church Stretton, or the medieval town of Ludlow.
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
