Here you will be perfectly positioned to enjoy one of the most picturesque and tranquil parts of Devon. Rugged Dartmoor is a short drive and is perfect for nature lovers and walkers. The beaches of North Cornwall are 25 miles away and offer a range of long sandy surfing beaches and sheltered coves to explore. Further afield there is Castle Drogo the Tarka Trail and the Granite Way cycle trails Lydford Gorge RHS Rosemoor Gardens Launceston Steam Railway and more. The small market town of Hatherleigh has local shops and pubs and Okehampton offers a larger range of shops including Waitrose restaurants and leisure facilities. Closer to home the Ashbury Hotel 3 miles away offers a range of sporting and leisure facilities such as golf tennis various watersports and indoor activities and the Grange Equestrian Centre is 1.5 miles away. Or visit Eastcott Vineyard also in Northlew for a relaxing glass of wine to end the day.
