The property was of an excellent standard, very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more for a relaxing holiday. Great outdoor space for the dogs also, and close to some good dog friendly beaches. We would recommend this property to others and would hope to return ourselves.

Outlook is a lovely cottage, in a quiet setting very well equipped. Plenty of walks for our dog and a couple of pubs within walking distance. The garden was lovely and also well equipped enabling us to sit outside and enjoy a bottle of wine. We will almost certainly return.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. It is beautifully furnished and very good range of equipment. Garden is enclosed which is brilliant for our dogs as one of them likes to run around. Close to Bude and Widemouth bay which although it was very windy and raining most of the week we had a few lovely visits to the local beaches with the dogs.Lovely pubs in easy reach and we loved visiting Port Isaac which is close by which although is not car friendly it was nice and peaceful at this time of year due to the lack of tourists.
Mrs Thompson

The cottage and location were excellent, it was very clean with everything you could possibly want. This was our second visit and hopefully not our last. I would recommend it to anyone. The owners have thought of everything a person could need, three cheers for the owners.

This was our third year running we had visited this cottage. The very high standard has been maintained throughout the three years. With the enclosed garden which is good for the dog and the off-road parking makes the cottage an ideal relaxing holiday cottage.

It was a definite home from home. It was everything that the website said and more. Lovely garden completely enclosed. Centrally located to tour the sights of Cornwall.

Just like a home from home - everything was perfect for us. Would love to go back there again. The owners couldn't have made any improvements on what they were offering. Well done.
Mrs Davidson
August 2014
The cottage was extremely well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have such a nice welcome pack when we arrived and the cupboard full of towels was also useful. The cottage was really well presented and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

I was very impressed with the property as the photos don't do it justice. We found it very easy to settle in as it felt like a home from home within a few hours of unpacking. Very child friendly with stair gates, high chair and plug socket covers all provided by the owners. A fantastic family holiday for us all and one we won't forget for a long time; even the dog did not want to come home at the end of the week!

From the time we got to the cottage, it was home from home and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Couldn't ask for more in the kitchen with all the cutlery, pots and dishes to cook with - a lot of thought had gone into it. Was very central as the A39 was within 5 minutes' drive, to go in any direction. We will definitely be back.
Mrs Clark

A beautiful bungalow, with everything to hand including Doctors, vet and dentist if needed. The bungalow was very well equipped and well thought out and on top of all that, beautiful unbroken sunshine all week, what more could you want. Hope to go to the same place next year.
Mr Teat

Everything was good. The owner was very helpful and very obliging. Everything was lovely and could not complain about anything. Lovely house in lovely surroundings. Would recommend this cottage to anyone I know and certainly will recommend it to our fellow Aussies. Have been in England for nearly 5 months and one of the best we have stayed in.
Mrs Norton

Had a really relaxing time in a lovely area. The scenery was beautiful and the weather towards the end of the week was just perfect.
Ms Masters
September 2014
The owners have clearly worked hard to maintain high standards throughout the property. It was a true home from home - the cottage contained pretty much everything you would want from a holiday home and a few extras besides. They provide the little things that make a big difference to you feeling immediately settled; a fabulous welcome pack, property guide etc.
Mrs Fletcher
March 2013
Close to the beaches and cliff top walks which our dog enjoyed. We found the whole area very dog friendly. We would come back again.
Mrs Bennett

August 2013
The cottage was well located near to the main town of Bude and within reach of main roads and shops. It was a brilliant base for exploring North Cornwall. The cottage was spacious, much more than the photos gave it to be. There was plenty of room for a family of four. The amenities were excellent and everything was clean and well maintained. Brilliant!
Mr Spencer

August 2013
Such a well-equipped cottage; the owners seem to have thought of everything and are obviously very quick to respond to visitors' suggestions. This was our second visit to the property, and we hope to book it again.
Ms Furneaux
June 2013
The cottage was really clean, well equipped and had plenty of space. The location was great and was within walking distance of 3 dog friendly pubs with good food. Although a few beaches didn't allow dogs, there were enough that did and everywhere we went we went, we and our dog received a friendly welcome.
Mrs Smith
July 2012
A lovely garden with this property, and we were lucky to have a sunny warm week in march, so we sat outside for meals etc.
Mrs Murphy
July 2012
We immediately felt at home in the cottage and couldn't have been more comfortable. The owners left us to it and didn't disturb us once. It was dog friendly in every way, even for our houdini dog!
Miss Thomas
October 2012
North Cornwall is a a lovely part of the country to visit. The cottage itself was also lovely, very spacious yet cosy at the same time with plenty of room for my dog! The entire area is very dog-friendly, and there are plenty of places that welcome your four-legged friend!
Mr Thurston
July 2012
We thought the property was excellent well appointed a real home from home feel about the property. Owners left tea bags coffee and pint of milk a welcome treat having driven from Leicester. We would stay there again without hesitation. Very good local amenities near by yet a quiet and tranquil location and very private. Even when weather was bad there were games and DVDs for our boys to play with and watch provided.
Mr Clarke
July 2013
The enclosed garden for the dog was brilliant. Also plenty of storage space. Amenities were close by.
Mr Bulmer

July 2012
We cannot speak highly enough about this property. Well appointed, comfortable and conveniently located. Met all of our needs with homely and considerate touches. Felt we would be comfortable and happy at any time of the year and whatever the weather. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

The property had every facility one could wish for, the only complaint was that the rear facing lounge needed either thick lined curtains, or some decent dark coloured blinds to keep the sun from shining into the room, and all but obliterating the picture on the television screen, otherwise I have no complaints.
Mrs Millard
September 2011
The cottage was very nicely situated, convenient but very peaceful. The welcome pack was very well received and the cottage was well equipped, a 'home from home'. An excellent experience and a lovely holiday was had by all.
Mrs Whitehead
August 2011
The decor in the house was absolutely lovely and the kitchen was incredibly well equipped. There was also a TV in each bedroom. The welcome pack was very informative and left us with no questions at all.

in general a very pleasant property, very spaceous and had everything needed for a good holiday. However the main bedroom in the loft conversion although a lovely space was a bit awkward . The stairs were very steep to this room and l would not recommend it either for very young children or elderly people. Of course it would be OK if only the ground floor was used as this could accomadate 4 people anyway.

December 2011
The service was good and the cottage was nice clean and in a fantatic position to get to beaches and shops. The main bedroom needs a new matress in the double bed it was very uncomfortable, also in the lounge the red leather sofa need replacing as that to was uncomfortable to sit in, also could do with some extra utensils in the kitchen. Besides that it was very nice.

Wd had a wonderful time here and were extremely comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. It was brilliant for our dog who is very good at getting uptown mischief. There are some lovely beaches nearby, our favourite was Sandymouth which is dog friendly. There was a fantastic dog and people friendly pub called the Kings arms nearby. There was also plenty of shops and amenities in Bude and Tintagel is definitely worth a visit.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Cornwall, it is spacious, clean, well presented, and with everything provided, even free wi-fi. The owner even sent me a text beforehand to say that we could arrive early and leave late if that suited us better. Stratton itself is a small village with 2 pubs, the food was excellent, and they both allow dogs which is great. Last year was very wet, and the week of our holiday was no exception, but despite the weather we had a great time with the dog, everywhere is very dog-friendly, and we visited a lot of great places including Port Isaac which appealed to my Mum because she watches Doc Martin! All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage and North Cornwall for a holiday with or without your four legged friend.

We had a great 4 week stay. The house was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We wanted for nothing, so well equipped and 4 televisions as well. Great pub meals.
