Paradwys description

Holiday home
Paradwys is a self contained apartment within the owner's grounds close to the small seaside town of Abersoch in North Wales. All on one level, this cottage has a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom suitable for children, making it a lovely holiday home for a family. The property also boasts a family shower room and an open plan living area containing a fitted kitchen, dining table and a small sitting area. Outside the cottage is a walled garden with a patio and outside furniture as well as space to park one car and a boat. Being so close to Abersoch, Paradwys is an ideal cottage for any watersports enthusiast or for a family wishing to explore the beautiful countryside of North Wales.

The village of Abersoch is situated on the Lleyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. Situated between two glorious bays, Abersoch is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and many sailing events are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. Watersports enthusiasts are particularly well catered for, especially windsurfing, waterskiing and dinghy sailing. There are three main beaches to choose from - the long sandy Warren beach, sheltered Porth Bach and sandy Porth Ceriad with its high cliffs and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

This was a comfortable property which was really well equipped. It was close to Abersoch and there is a local shop and pub. The property had a gorgeous garden and was in a nice area. The owners were friendly and more than helpful.

This cottage was 'home from home', it was fully equipped - lots of games, books and tourist guides. Peaceful location, yet only minutes from Abersoch and lovely beaches. Definitely recommended.

Lovely quiet location compact and immaculately presented with prvate lawned garden (perfect for sunbathing/relaxing.) Ideal location for exploring the Lyn Peninsular also many local country walks with panoramic views over surrounding countryside & coast. Friendly welcoming owners we would recommend this property to anyone. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

The cottage is actually an apartment below the people that own it. The building is on a slope with the owners in like a detached bungalow above with a level below where we stayed. It has an enclosed walled garden with a lawn surrounded with bushes and flowers, it was very secluded and ideal for sunbathing, all sunloungers etc are supplied. The location was ideal for getting around the Llyn penisula and the car paking space was ample. The accommodation was adequate with the kitchen and lounge all in one. there are two bedrooms one double one twin, these are a bit small but you can get around ok. My only reservstion was the double bed, it made a high pitched squeak when you got in & out, so when you got up for the toilet your parner was disturbed. The owner is very friendly and she greets you when you arrive showing all the ins & outs of the cottage. There is a post office about a mile away which is really a general grocery store with an off licence and daily papers

Travelled with my husband and 14 year old daughter. Paradwys is an excellent base from which to explore Gwynedd. We found the accommodation extremely clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate for the three of us. There is also wifi. It was excellent value for money and we would recommend highly. The garden is lovely and private and a good extension to the space weather permitting.

Can't fault this cottage. When we got there there was a welcome note on the door. A warm welcome from the owner and perfect peace the whole week. The cottage is comfortable with a TV and DVD player if you just want to relax.. Brilliant all round thank you.
