Absolutely stunning views from the property. The gardens are magnificent and the peace and quiet is wonderful. The owner was there to meet and greet and was available throughout should we have needed anything. The cottage is ideally situated for the coastal path and access to Pwllheli. We were fortunate enough with the weather to take full advantage of the outdoor seating and garden.

Everything was perfect! In a great location, has all the equipment you would need and was comfortable clean and spacious. The views across the sea were breathtaking, especially from the top of the garden view point. What more can I say, it was a memorable stay and would definitely recommend the cottage to family and friends.

Penmaen Bach is in an excellent location, in easy walking distance into Pwllheli and a 10min drive into Abersoch. The cottage is on private grounds which are immaculately kept. The family are very friendly and our daughter particularly liked feeding the goats. The cottage itself is in great condition and having the lounge on the first floor is perfect for taking advantage of the lovely sea views. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic views from the living room, the sea to the front and fields to the back. The cottage in general is spacious, clean and well equipped. The grounds are lovely and immaculately kept, you can spend days at the cottage just relaxing and taking in the atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and accommodating but at the same time leaves you alone to get on with your holiday. Pwllheli is a 15 minute walk away where you will find all the local amenities including some nice pubs for dinner. The amazing Abersoch beach is 10 mins drive away and well worth a day out if the weather is good. We will be back for another family holiday next year.

It is now the seventh year we have stayed in this property. We particularly love the spectacular view towards the sea from the upstairs lounge. The setting is so tranquil and relaxing. It is has the bonus of being within walking distance to Pwllheli whilst at the same time being away from it all!

July 2014
The cottage and grounds were beautiful, in a peaceful area and with great views. We didn't need for anything in the cottage as everything was provided. The owner phoned me a week before to make us feel welcome. There are lovely beaches and plenty of local amenities. The sunny weather for a full week was a bonus. Probably the best accommodation we've stayed in.

We love this part of Wales and we love this property! We're going back again for a fourth time later in the year. It's within easy walking distance of Pwllheli town centre, lovely Marion beach and picturesque countryside. What more could we want?

We have just returned from a relaxing family holiday at Penmaen Bach and a good time was had by all!!! The cottage is in an ideal area and fantastic surroundings but close enough not to feel too isolated. Excellent cottage and friendly owners. We will definitely return next year.
Mrs Firth

The cottage is very well considered for young children and beautifully decorated.

September 2009
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, peaceful, relaxing with plenty of places to visit nearby.
December 2011
The cottage was simply delightful; set in beautiful landscaped gardens, which the owner must have spent a lifetime tending. There was a wonderful craggy outcrop to explore & amazing sea views from the front windows. The house was well furnished & very clean, with the kitchen being well stocked with plenty of utensils. The 1st floor lounge was cosy but we did feel that the TV was too small for the room size. One thing that would be an asset would be a cloakroom/bathroom on the 1st floor.
September 2010
We love it so much that we are giong back for our fourth stay in September 2010, this time with mum and dad and auntie and uncle. Wonderful view towards the sea from the upstairs lounge and kitchen window, green fields to the side with cattle and sheep grazing. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds of Penmaen estate. Outstanding location within 10 minutes walking distance of lovely Pwllheli town and our favourite Michelin-starred restaurant Plas Bodegroes. Friendly welcomes wherever we go, be it shopping or sight-seeing. We like it so much that we feel homesick!
