The location of Primrose Cottage was superb. So close to the town centre. We had parking permits, so didn't have to worry about parking. The kitchen and lounge areas were fabulous, fully equipped and very spacious.

The location of the cottage was superb. So close to the town centre. We had parking permits, so didn't have to worry about parking. The kitchen and lounge areas were fabulous, fully equipped and very spacious. The grill kept tripping the power, so that could do with getting fixed. Slight issue with the key on arrival, as it wasn't left in the key box for us. Luckily the owner's son lived nearby so this was quickly rectified. Not the owners fault. The bathroom was tired and the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The two bedrooms upstairs were ok, however the beds were so uncomfortable and the bedding and pillows were so flimsy, these could do with being replaced. I would definitely stay here again, if some new mattresses and new bedding was sorted.

This fabulous cottage was full of character and was located just a short walk from the town centre, restaurants and pubs. The cottage was clean and provided fresh towels and bedding, the beds were really comfortable. The lounge had a log burner which was really cosy on the cold December evenings. I will certainly be returning to experience this delightful accommodation in the summer.

The location of the cottage could not be better, just a short stroll and you are in the centre of Stratford. You will find a a parking permit in the cottage for the street parking right outside the door. The cottage itself is lovely, it even has a wood burning stove made up just ready to light! The kitchen has everything you need and the cottage has a lovely sitting area outside where you could enjoy a glass of wine in the summer months. The beds are nice and comfy with crisp white bedding and for a cottage not bad size rooms! We found the cottage very homely and loved Stratford and all it has to offer. We can't wait to return in the summer! The owners sent over to us all the information regarding the cottage before we arrived with was versy helpful.

We stayed at Primrose Cottage for a week in April. The cottage was well located not far from the town centre and at first glance was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. We were exhausted on arrival as we had flown from Australia then travelled by train to Stratford. It would have been lovely to sit down with a cuppa after more than thirty five hours on the go but there were no milk sachets in the kitchen and about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom so we had to struggle off to the supermarket. The weather was very cold and the heating had been turned off with no clear instructions about turning it on at the boiler. The bedding was most uncomfortable with a plastic mattress cover and synthetic sheet. The pillows were so thin that we bought new ones but fortunately didn't need them in our other U.K. accommodations. There was a very bad odour from the drains in the cottage later in the week and the owner's son came to check the problem. Luckily it was at the end of our stay and hopefully has been rectified.
