Ravens Rock Farm description

Ravens Rock Farm is a beautiful and traditional farmhouse, adjacent to the owner's residence on a working farm of mixed enterprise, including dairy, beef and sheep.

It's situated in a peaceful and tranquil setting, located underneath the Ox Mountains with a view to Knocknarea and Queen Maeve's cairn.There is private car parking to the front of the house and a large enclosed garden at the rear, with garden furniture and BBQ facilities, ideal for children and families.

The home is situated on a great working farm in a tranquil, peaceful setting beneath the scenic Ox Mountains.

Accommodation:
The traditional farmhouse consists of two bedrooms, the facilities here are great with finely crafted wood ceilings, fully fitted kitchen and comfortable and sitting room. Ravens Rock Farm is a good base to tour the North West. Sligo is just 5 miles down the road with its great pubs, restaurants and local crafts to purchase. Room Features There are 2 bedrooms in this house, each room containing a double and a single bed. Both rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.

The living room is a great place to relax with an open fireplace, timber floors, T.V, DVD player or why not choose a book from the selection of books from the book case. The kitchen/dining room has all the mod cons needed for you to enjoy your stay including washing machine tumble drier, electric cooker, fridge and microwave.The bathroom of the house is located upstairs with an electric shower.

A Welcome Tray with tea, coffee and homemade scones await you on arrival. At the back of the house is a spacious garden with garden furniture and a portable BBQ.

Ballisodare Village is situated at the mouth of the Owenmore River, which is renowned for its salmon fishing. It was where W.B. Yeats' renowned poem 'Down by The Sally Gardens' was penned. The village has many amenities such as shops, cafes, take aways, laundrette, video shop and pubs with traditional music.
