The peace and quiet of the location was just what was needed, and the owners are excellent hosts. It was the best holiday, would definitely go again. Perfect.

The property is full of character, secluded and perfect for those who wish to spend a few days relaxing away from the bustling noises of the city.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. It was very warm and comfortable and the beds and bedding were of great quality. We enjoyed the Wii and the pool table but the best thing was the quiet location. The views of snowy mountain tops in one direction and a field of sheep with lambs the other was so relaxing. The cottage was a 10 minute drive to Llandwyn Island and beach at Newborough which was stunning; lovely sand and walks. The location also great for Caernarfon Castle and Snowdonia.

Cottage was stunning! Pictures don't do it justice, lounge and front bedroom huge! The finishing touches were amazing, just made it feel really homely. The pool table is a genius idea and was very popular with all of us. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend. Sykes come up trumps again, I wouldn't even look anywhere else now.

The cottage was very homely, a lot of thought had gone into the property. There were games and books left for both children and adults and there were plenty of DVD's. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning.

A beautiful, comfortable and well furnished property in a tranquil rural setting. We loved the property, the location, the pool table in the living room and how easy it was to access main routes to travel all over the island. The owners were very friendly and offered excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at.

A lovely, peaceful location, yet with easy access to other areas. It was a super cottage with quality furnishings, good heating, and friendly helpful owners. Had a sunny patio for evenings sitting out with a bottle (or two!) of wine. Would definitely stay again recommend. It was one of the nicest cottages we have rented in over 30 years of visiting the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Very helpful owner/caretaker who was always available if needed and good to get on with. Clean property, quiet location with wildlife, a local Hedgehog in back garden, spotted a woodpecker, buzzards and sheep in surrounding fields and paddock. Pool Table was excellent, had a large lounge and master Bedroom. A 5 star quality cottage in an excellent location.

Stayed here with five other friends, everything was pretty much perfect with the cottage. The whole place was furnished exceptionally well. The best parts are the availability of a gas powered BBQ grill, a pool table and log fire, perfect for a weekend away. The owners were exceptionally friendly and always on hand if you had any problems.

August 2014
A very quiet peaceful and beautiful location. The cottage was outstanding and the pool table was a big hit with all four children! Excellent barbecue and enough room for all 6 of us to sit and eat and be a family together both in the garden and indoors. We will definitely be back. Loved the sheep in the fields next door too!

Be prepared to fall in love! It is much nicer than the web site photos (yes they look lovely but it is even better in person!) it is a beautiful, homely house, in a stunning location. The owners are great, on hand and available for anything you ask for but discreet enough not to interrupt your holiday. Thanks for a fantastic week.

The cottage had been recently renovated to a very high standard and all the usable space in the cottage had been so well laid out there was a real sense of space. The living room with a large TV and Wii games for the kids was large enough for a pool table which they also loved. The kitchen was a perfect size to work in and the three double bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The master bedroom having ample space and a sofa to provide a quiet spot to read a book or watch TV if needed. The cottage was in a very a quiet rural area with the sounds of the country all around and a private garden area that was a pleasure to use, the large gas barbecue was also top notch. The whole family can't wait to go back again.

Rhos y Bel Cottage We have just got back from a lovely break in Anglesey staying at the Rhos y Bel cottage. What a beautiful place this was it was perfect as there were 4 adults and a 2-year-old. Dave the owner provided a cot and high chair which meant we did not have to lug that with us as well. He also left us 6 fresh eggs from his chickens, a bottle of wine and a pack of welsh cakes. There were 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and a twin (which had the on suite). The lounge was large and had a pool table at one end where many a game was played. The dining area was just off the kitchen. The kitchen was fully stacked with everything you needed including a freezer which came in very handy. There was also a BBQ provided which we used on a couple of occasions. We took our granddaughter out every morning to say hello to the sheep and chickens which she loved. The roads to and from the cottage are single track but as long as you take your time they were not a problem. It was a nice change to be woken up by sheep rather than traffic noise. This is a lovely cottage and Dave the owner was so nice and helpful.
April 2015
we had a great time, went with my wife and daughter for a five day family break. The couple who own the place are very hospitable and lovely . we were welcomed at the entrance of the property, it was very well kept. all the needs met. everything that we could think of. very thoughtfully done up. would def recommend . We look forward to going back.
September 2015
We booked for 7 nights as a family to support my brother completing the Sandman Triathlon. This cottage is beautifully decorated, the owners kindly left us a dozen farm eggs, a bottle of wine and some bara brith. There is also a bucket of coal, some kindling and logs left to have a fire. The male owner was really lovely and friendly...we didn't meet the female owner. My wife and I stayed in the superking bedroom...WOW!! i don't think i have ever slept so well, the bedlinen, pillows and duvet were such good quality and the furniture in the entire house was lush!! the king and twin room are linked with a small bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) joined to the twin room. The main bathroom has a fabulous deep bath...take bubble bath!! The only suggestion i have is that some local info is provided such as where the nearest supermarket is, pubs, restaurants etc. We ended up going to Holyhead to TESCO but later found an ASDA in Llangefni. This place is gorgeous and if we ever need to stay in Anglesey again we would DEF book here!

I wish we could have stayed 5 days instead of 4. The journey to Rhos Y Bel was beautiful as are the entire surroundings. The house is secluded and within a short distance (under 5 miles) of sandy beaches, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and takeaways with are located in Llangefni. It is only a short distance (under 30 minutes drive) to the beautiful town of Caernarfon which has a host of pubs, restaurants and shops. The house was incredible inside and out with beautiful small gardens in the front and back (the photos do not do it justice). The owners, Mr Yates and Mrs Palmer were very welcoming and accommodating. They have paid attention to detail in terms of decor and facilities provided with some essentials (tea, coffee, sugar...) provided on arrival as well as a welcome basket with a nice bottle of wine and cake. In short, you would be a fool not to stay here.
