The Cottage was situated in a lovely village next to a beautiful river. The extras of blu-ray, TV, DVD, electronic chairs and 2 sitting rooms made the cottage more comfortable. The Cottage was surrounded by very pretty countryside too. There were some good pubs and restaurants locally.

We particularly enjoyed the comforts provided, the ambience of the Cottage, the cosy fires and the sitting room. The beds were very comfy! A lovely kitchen with ample workspace. The special thought and care the owner has shown in furnishing the cottage. Everything needed was amply provided for. The whole place was light bright and airy, we absolutely loved it and enjoyed the surrounding countryside and peaceful village life immensely.

The property was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the holiday. The location was also great as the river Ribble was within a very short walk, and it was lovely to sit and look at the scenery. The cottage garden was lovely, and I was able to sit and have my breakfast outside. The spar shop in the village was also very reasonable for a village shop.

Our first experience in a cottage, which was fantastic! The cottage had a lovely cosy feel to it, especially with the log fire but mod-cons made it feel like a home-from-home. A perfect get-away! Lovely surroundings. The dog loved the break away as well. The owners of the cottage were absolutely fantastic. A big thank you!

It is a lovely peaceful village with very friendly people. There is also a nice area where you can sit and contemplate your day or whatever you want just by the river Ribble.

The location was excellent just one minute from the river bank. A quiet street but it was lovely to hear the children's voices on their way to school. Shop and pub within yards of the house.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in January and found the cottage to be a real home from home . The cottage is well equipped with everything you could or would, ever need the guest booklets are very helpful the village is lovely. Parking can be a struggle but we coped quiet well . The only negative comment I could make was it needed a good clean fand there was a a very bad damp patch in the bedroom overall very comfortable stay and may use again

This cottage has everything you could possibly need.. the kitchen is well equipped, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and the freezer is in a cupboard..gas hob and electric oven.. and more... two spacious bedrooms, with plenty of hanging space and comfy king size beds one being a four poster.. Bathroom ticked every box as it had both bath and shower... two lovely sitting rooms one very plush with electric recliner sofas and one comfy with throws in case you bring your pet along.. both had very large tv's one with 3D and films to watch.. also loads of games, and info on where to go, the wifi was fast with great connection.. the garden was great and would be perfect for your dogs holiday and very secure... the local spar was very well stocked and opened long hours...Alfie the black and white cat from over the road came to visit and liked a few treats... also the birds which came in the garden when I fed them was a joy to watch.. the cat left them alone...This cottage was clean and well maintained and a super base for sightseeing... parking is a little hard, but there is always a space nearby or at the museum and church by the river bend only a minute away... I would recommend this cottage and wished I had booked two weeks ...
