The view from the window of the river was just the ticket. Everything you could want, was there for you, including peace and quiet, if you wanted it. Rye is a lovely little place with plenty to look at and do.

We loved the position of this apartment on the river Brede, making it quiet and tranquil with interesting views of river traffic and bird life, yet with easy access to the charming town of Rye. Importantly, there was designated parking. There is a huge amount to do and see in East Sussex and we had a lovely time.

This was a splendid property, very well furnished . It has top class views and is only a 5 minute walk from the many delights of Rye. The owner was very helpful on all counts which helped us have a great week, which we hope to repeat soon.

The position of the apartment is ideal, being in a quiet location with wonderful views across the river but also offering private parking and the convenience of being only a few minutes walk from the centre of Rye. The apartment is very comfortably furnished, with real attention to detail; after a full days sightseeing, it was lovely to return to enjoy the facilities.

The location was very good indeed for being able to walk into the town of Rye. We also enjoyed very much the view from the living room directly on to the tidal river. The owner had left a huge amount of information on the town and surrounding area, she had done a lot of research.

A very peaceful quiet location, in an ideal setting to sightsee the surrounding areas. The owner was most helpful and very accommodating with any questions.

The apartment overlook a channel to the river. This meant we could see the tide coming and going and watch the bird activity. The occasional boat coming up the channel also made for interest. There are no other properties overlooking the apartment so it all felt very private. The walking in the area was wonderful - and so too are the places for tea where we could put back on any weight we lost by walking! The owner was extremely welcoming and made contact before we arrived and was very helpful. Definitely a place to return to and one we would recommend.

The owner has gone to great lengths to anticipate guests' needs, from DVDs for bad weather to a picnic basket for good weather. The location is unbeatable, with the River Brede just outside the window.
