The standard of the accommodation was superb. The Lodge is a must if you want time out for yourselves away from the world outside. The location is very good with a good pub within easy walking distance. The owners were very friendly.

This was a nice area to visit many national trust properties to visit. It is a lovely cottage with everything included to ensure a comfortable stay. It had great hosts who ensured all was well with us. Lots of information was also in the cottage allowing us to identify many places to visit with maps. Altogether a lovely holiday.

We felt like the cottage was remote, even though its location wasn't. It was very quiet and relaxing. It was a well equipped cottage. The property was small but we were pleased private garden and access to communal gardens, which were very nice.

I don't normally do reviews on places I stay. This is an exception as we had such a fantastic time. The standard was top quality, great place for a romantic stay. Loved all the comfort and gadgets. Internet and smart TV's with Netflix a bonus if you have a wet day or prefer evenings in. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Everything is extremely new and fresh, a lot of thought has gone into the property. We found the area a good spring board for visiting the peaks and there was a friendly local pub and store.
