The accommodation was excellent and the situation of the property was beautiful, with views both ways up the valley. There are chickens roaming the property, donkeys, llama, sheep and highland cattle. The owners live on site and are very helpful and friendly. It was a super centre for touring this picturesque area.

This was our 3rd visit to Rose Cottage in about a year and hope to return again. I think that illustrates how much we love it. Great to be able to fetch the dog on holiday too, to such a fantastic place.

The hospitality of the owner, especially on arrival and departure. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall facilities were over and above excellent. The location was great with the views of the Moors. The best accommodation and location we have ever had. VERY highly recommended. 10 out of 10. Did not want to leave and would go back again.

A beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage set in fantastic surroundings. A perfect base for the countryside and coast. The family were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Access to a huge outdoor space that the children loved, they also loved all of the wildlife especially the donkeys. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back very soon.
