Rose Valley Cottage is a delightful, detached and whitewashed stone cottage situated in the grounds of Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye. The cottage can sleep four people in a double room, a single room, and a family bathroom on the ground floor. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside, there is ample off road parking, an open aspect front garden and a large enclosed rear garden with furniture. Rose Valley Cottage is a wonderful base for friends and families exploring the Isle of Skye and all it has to offer.
Dunvegan is a village on the Isle of Skye, home to some shops and hotels and Dunvegan Castle, about a mile out of the village, home to the Clan Macleod. The Cuillin Mountains are within easy reach and are well worth a visit while Portree, the island's only town, boasts a harbour and a good selection of shops, hotels and restaurants.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
