We enjoyed a wonderful week at Roselea. There are wonderful views from the cottage, it is exceptionally well equipped and very cosy - We didn't want to come home! We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and relaxing in front of the wood burner. Roselea is ideally located for exploring the beautiful sights of Skye and crossing over the bridge to Kyle of Loch Alsh - a visit to Plockton. We enjoyed lovely walks; Glenbrittle, old man of storr, streat point and a visit to the Talisker distillery - recommend booking tour before you go! Lovely pub meal at Stein - oldest pub on Skye. Highly recommend Roselea and all Skye has to offer.

The property enhanced the holiday with a great kitchen and lounge area, parking for vehicles could not be bettered and the storage shed for bikes was a definite bonus for us.

The accommodation was excellent for a family holiday. The small extra lounge was an added bonus as the children loved having their own play area.

This is a superb property in an excellent location to explore Skye. The house is decorated with great taste and comfy furniture. The recliner sofas and the pool table were a great hit with the kids (small and big). It made staying in on rainy days more enjoyable. I couldn't believe how well equipped the kitchen was - it was probably on par with your own kitchen at home. Also having a laundry room by the entrance door was a huge plus to be able to leave all muddy clothes after walks. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

A holiday rental that felt like home which was great to go back to after a day out round the fantastic Isle of Skye. It was a pleasure to be in even on a blustery rainy day!

The place was superb. Everything was of an exceptionally high standard and it made occasionally staying in a real pleasure. The pool table (with cues chalk supplied) was the icing on the cake. Our 15-year-old son really enjoyed challenging his father to a game of pool. There was plenty to do even if it was raining.

Lovely house, has everything you need for the perfect holiday, would come back and recommend to everyone.

Roselea is exactly as shown in the photos. The whole house is well equipped and to a high standard. We are all pool playing experts - nearly! The location is lovely, rural and peaceful. On our last day we saw a deer from the kitchen window! One thing to note is that the bike store doesn't have a lock. We managed to secure the bikes to our bike carrier in the store, but if your carrier isn't lockable that might be an issue. Given Roselea's location, im not sure how much of a problem this would be. We definitely plan to return.

Had a fantastic stay in Roselea, beautiful house in immaculate condition. The house is very easy to find, and is in a good position to explore beautiful Skye or cross back over to the mainland to explore the breathtaking countryside which is on your door step. We organised a Tesco click and collect , but there is a very l good Co-op 10 mins in car in Broadford. The house is very comfortable, lounge and kitchen upstairs it's so easy to relax in this very bright airy space with stunning views to Applecross. The kitchen is very well equipped. Sky TV viewers with movie channel and sports was extra bonus. The log burner makes this space very warm and cosy. Great walks and cycles on your door step and easy to find if going by car. We will definitely return to this first class accommodation .

A stunning property, will recommend to all friends and family. It is in a great location, was wonderfully equipped and very clean. The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in on the Isle of Skye and we go at least twice a year.
April 2015
This was our first visit to Skye and were unsure of where our accommodation was in relation to nearby walks, cycles, eateries. It didn't take us long to realise that it was situated perfectly and meant we had to much flexibility with the activities we had on our door step. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather but the house is kitted out so well that it makes it tempting to stay indoors and keep occupied with the pool table, wii and board games. Everything from the reclining sofas to the wood burning stove helped us have such a relaxing break.. We also really liked the handbook which includes all the activities and local recommendations. Thanks again!
