This spacious, detached, architect designed, single-storey holiday property overlooks Gare Loch and hills to the north and is set in a quiet, rural location at the top of a farm road with grounds of about 3 acres. The bungalow faces south-west and the large windows ensure this property receives good light. The enclosed garden area, with a flat lawn, is suitable for pets and children to play in. From the property is a gate that leads to the attached field with woods and a burn, ideal for walking from the doorstep and there is also a launching slip on Gare Loch for water sports. Rosmuire is 20 minutes from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. This is an ideal location from which to explore one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas, with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed, including walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking and water sports nearby, as well as the West Highland Way and numerous hill and mountain walks, with about 20 munros, hills above 3000ft, within an hour’s drive. There is also easy access to golf courses including the Loch Lomond championship course. Cameron House golf and spa and Lomond Shores, offering designer shopping, loch cruises and an aquarium, are about 15 minutes away. Various nearby distilleries, including the famous Glengoyne Distillery, offer tours. Rosmuire is about 3 miles away from Helensburgh with shops, supermarket, pubs and coffee shops, and areas of interest include the Waverley paddle steamer and the National Trust Hill House, which was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904. Glasgow and Stirling are 40 minutes and Edinburgh, Oban and Glencoe are 1½ hours by car or direct train. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles. All on ground floor: Living room.
